Morning again Tasha, None of us are doctors on this Forum, so we're not qualified
to give you the advise you need. If you suffer high blood pressure, I
take it you're on medication for this. If not you should be. If your ear/ears are
blocked, I've mentioned before, that can certainly cause us to feel light headed.
You mention flushed dizzy (not too sure what you mean by that) Are you getting
a hot flush facially, then you're feeling a bit dizzy.....could you be going through a
very early menopause, or be peri-menopausal ?? Seriously Tasha, you really
need to see a doctor, only he/she will be able to help you. You've condradicted
yourself a little. You've said weird flushed dizzy, but not dizzy. Which is it ??

Hi tasha28992
We note from a recent post which you have made to our forum that you may be experiencing thoughts around self-harm. If we have misinterpreted your comments then we apologies for contacting you directly. But if you are having such thoughts then please note that you are not alone in this, and there are people out there that can help.
If you are having these suicidal thoughts then we strongly recommend you speak to someone who may be able to help. The Samaritans offer a safe space where you can talk openly about what you are going through. They can help you explore your options, understand your problems better, or just be there to listen.
Their contact details are on our patient information leaflet here: https://patient.info/health/dealing-with-suicidal-thoughts, which also offers lots of other advice on how you can access the help you may need.
If you are having such thoughts then please do reach out to the team at the Samaritans (or the other people detailed in our leaflet) who will understand what you're going through and will be able to help.
Kindest regards
Patient

Morning Tasha,
I don't think that post from the Patient website should have made you feel embarrassed. It was a very kind message and it was sent out of concern. Obviously posted as you are always saying how down you're and now having suicidal thoughts. I'll reiterate, we all feel very low due to this awful condition many of us are suffering. It's so very hard trying to advise anyone who hasn't got the finances to enable support for themselves to tackle ETD. You've tried all home remedies and I know that many of those don't work when the ears are so very clogged. Like I've said, so many times before on this Forum, unless people have suffered, or suffering they've no idea how awful it is.
Please stay kind, as many people have messaged you with their support. Hopefully, it won't take too long for your appointment to come through for the place you've mentioned.
It's so hard to believe that people in your financial position can't see seek help at a hospital. We are very spoilt living in England having such a wonderful National Heath Service. I really wish there was something else could be offered while you're waiting. Have you spoken with a Pharmacist ? maybe there is something they could advise you to try. I would have thought after all this time with blocked ears and the thumping sound that you are hearing that you've already Googled it to see what you can read up about ETD.
Take care Tasha

I was told never to put saline spray up nose if ears are really blocked. It's like having to wear earplugs when swimming so as not to get water in your earss.

It sounds like the nerve in your ear. I had sort of that the other day. Are your ears still really blocked ?
I can't believe how you're managing to put up with it after all this time. Are you able to pop them at all ?

Sounds like, due to the fullness of your eustachian tubes, the nerve in the ear would make a thumping sound against the eardrum. So pleased at last you're getting to see someone. Tell him about all the people on this forum suffering the same and you know it's ETD. Definitely ask for Prednisolone because they work within a week. Gets rid of inflammation and dry up all the mucus blocking your tubes. My right ear is blocked today and I can't pop it. So I'm just goig to put in my Flixonase Nasules which will open my tubes. They usually pop once the steroid drops get into tubes.

While researching TMJ I have come across thumping in the ears. It's called pulsatile tinnitus.
My Neuromuscular dentist recommends that I take magnesium for the TMJ and Lavela (a lavender supplement). Those are things you can try that won't hurt anything and they don't require a prescription. Studies are showing that Lavela can work as well as anxiety medications. I just started it yesterday so I don't know if it's going to help any or not.
Look up Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome (TTTS). That is a muscle issue in the ear. Most say it's caused by anxiety but others say it can be related to TMJ or a cervical spine issue.
Magnesium helps with muscle related issues. A doctor can prescribe a muscle relaxer but from what I have read it doesn't help much.
I have TMJ and allergies. I have most of the TTTS symptoms too but I don't have any thumping or ringing thankfully.

<_<.....lucky you.....Well I researched everything you said and the doctor back in July said I don't have ttts...just fluid in the drum.I have magnesium but I take allergy medicine at the moment.Do have anxiety from anything yet...i just get very depressed from the suffering.I did have PT in the left ear for a short while but it was actually matching the heart. The thumping is a very unheard of symptom .Now everyone thinks I'm crazy
