I'm 55 & last period was october 16. I feel horrible most of the time with palpitations & chest pains from heartburn. I've had ecg's & heart scans but still feel like somethings wrong with me. I'm back to see my gp tomorrow I've now got ringing in my ears & dizzy heads, I'm sure my symptoms are stress related but don't know how to overcome the health anxiety. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

This site makes me feel so much better. Clearly all the symptoms we are having are menopausal, as we all are suffering with the same things. I went to see my gp yesterday & got upset she was so understanding & has prescribed betablockers which I'm giving a try, she also said to try acupuncture. Hopefully the tablets will work😊Has anyone tried acupunctur?

Hi, are you still trying acupuncture? I’ve had 3 sessions so far but not noticed a lot of difference & it’s expensive if it’s not going to work

Hi Kim I am so happy to see this post even though its been 4 months since you post it. I have been having the burning skin too, its in my back and sometime just moves to other places. Its scary because I dont hear of this symptom. The back hurts too and sometimes burns with it. I feel like i need a bowel move but its just pressure. I like you feel like I am just losing it. Not to mention the non stop heart palpitations! My bladder burns, im irritated and dry down there, constant peeing...I just want to scream for it to stop! Im desperately trying not pop an anxiety pill or use the hrt that's been sitting for months.

I feel you kim i really do.

Yes, I’m losing weight.  I just turned 55 and with non stop anxiety/nervous stomach it makes it hard to eat and gain weight. I will be going on bioidentical hormones, hopefully when I find out blood work results. I haven’t been this thin since in my early 20’s. It’s scary, but I know it’s hormone related. May the Lord help all of us who cry out to Him. We need to hang in there. God is good and He will see us through this trying time.

Im 45 year started PeriM around 6 months ago. Since around End of November I was losing weight consistantly (regular weight around 62kg) and by January 2018 was around 54 kg really scary my gp set me for a CT scan that came back fine. I had no idea the this was also a symptom of periM but now understand it that relates to muscle mass loss?? My clothes from a size 10 down to an 8 or 6 but my frame looks so skinny and unhealthy.  I have been on HRT Femoston 1/10 mg since February and due to start a different brand in a weeks time. I hav been making soothie protein drinks to try and build me up again I dont feel as weak but I would still like my ideal weight of 9 stone back.

Wish all here healing in finding what works best for them X
