Is this Balanitis? I'm 21, had it most of my whole life, no treatment has worked

Idk how relevant this is but im glad i found this forum.

Im 28, last year in the middle of may i came down with strep throat, and did a hefty round of antibiotics for it. well, with my luck, i also caught a yeast infection and followed up with the doc and she put me on 1 pill daily for 5 days. did nothing, went back, she put me on 3 pills for 10 days, still nothing.

i did some of my own research and in august i wound up using lotrimine jock itch spray and hydrocortisone 1% cream, and since then, because the weather cooled off, i could get by with just the cream.

last year, and this year, when it got warm out, for some reason, my ass started itching like no other, only when its hot out, it itches all summer, goes away in the winter.

to list out the things ive tried in the groin/anal area,

plain non flavored non cultured yogurt, this works really well actually, im guessing at some point a yeast infection recurred, ive been tested for diabetes, nothing.

coconut oil, does decent

lotrimine spray

antifungal athletes foot creme

hydrocirtizone creme will numb the pain for as long as its on there, i have to reapply after i shower or ill pay dearly lol

just to be clear, ive seen countless doctors, theyre clueless and so am i. im just listing out what ive done and what I know.

so, id like to examine what the pain that i feel actually is. 5-6 years ago i had a slight yeast infection which we irradicated and then about a year later i had another one. doc told me not to shave cuz yeast just falls in, well anyway i didnt listen lol and have had like a really really faint version of a yeast infection since. it didnt mess with anything, could still get it up just fine, but it was there. well anyway like like i said before, for about a year now its so intense i almost want to cut it off lol. but, what it will do is move from spot to spot from my groin, to my inner thigh, to where my belt rides, to the tip of my penis. just sporadically, whenever. ill have some slight itching in other spots but i just scratch like normal and its gone. if im out working i dont pay much attention, its either faint or gone. but when it goes to the tip, its usually there the longest and thats when its the most intense. it usually stays at the tip until the hydrocortisone cream can work its magic and then its under control until it flares up again, usually after sex. the after sex part sounds like yeast, but it moving around my right side groin area sounds like nerve interference. could be a combination but i doubt it.

my penis pain intensifies significantly after sex, like i have to apply the creme, which usually isnt effective until the next day and take an ibuprofen before bed cuz it HURTS. feels like its on fire.

also, i went to the chiropractor to get my back adjusted, I usually go like once a year, ive been there twice. the first time i learned my right leg ls longer than my left, and that my hips are shifted. i did notice the pain went away or was at least better for a stretch but muscle memory pulls everything back out of place, i wanted to go back this spring but coronavirus made everything impossible.

the second time i went there, last august, we re xrayed my back and found my tailbone was at a 45 degree angle pointing toward my right leg, and the first images from before we never saw it because my belt buckle was covering it lmao

so i looked up the human anatomy and sure as s**t, every nerve that runs to your penis runs through your hips.

this is the only thing ive ever come up with, unfortunately i have never gone to the chiropractor regularly enough to notice a difference. i joke to myself that what i have is worse than herpes, cuz at least herpes comes and goes lol. ive never had a blister or any symptom for a doc to look at and know. no blister no discharge, hardly a rash worth pointing out, just the occasional agonizing pain and groin burn. i do wear an extra in sole in my left boot all day and it seemed to help my hip pain but ive been driving a lot lately and i think it irritated my hip. not sure. i called the chiropractor today and left a message, in a week or two ill hop back on and give some updates.

by the way tonight it flared up super bad, i had sex 2 nights ago so maybe this time it forgot for a minute haha

im also going to 100% stop using soap in the shower. does anyone know why they make soaps that make guys literally miserable? like seriously, what is the ONE THING we ALL want to smell good? i think someone needs fired lol.

so this week i can hopefully get into the chiropractor, stop using soap and pour on the hydrocortizone cream.

i hate doing multiple things at once but damn this hurts and its been WAY too long.

any joy from any one? it's been very quiet?

i thought i would share my story to see what everybody else thinks , my issue started 2 years ago after two weeks of unprotected sex i started feeling itchy then pumps started showing on the glans without any pain then redness expanded to the shaft and discharge afterwards , after testing all stds were negative so i was told it has to be a yeast infection however after treatment the redness never cleared completely till now , i wonder if there is something i still have or its just takes a lot of time for the penis to heal back , any thoughts on this?

note: the itching was only on the third picture part with 3 new ppp bumps showed at the same time which makes me wondering.

hi, im 13 and have the same thing and ive actually had it for a while now. My foreskin used to be attached to my glands but they slowly came off but some of it has been really irritated and they do leave scars. My uretha is still inflamed and hurts when i pee and the head if my penis is very dry but i have just started using coconut oil to see if it makes a difference and if it does ill let you all know. Ever since i was a little kid ive never pulled my foreskin back at all so im guessing its from that. i dont want to go to the doctors cause im very scared about this and i dint want to be judged by like my parents and stuff so if anyone finds some home remedies let me know. I also read an article about balantis can be early signs of heart failiur and/or un-diagnosed diabetes. All if my mates are actually non-virgins and im scared that with no cure for this then ill be a virgin fir most of my life. This is a bug insecurity about myself so please help find something.

so under a year ago i went to the doctors becasue i noticed red spots/patches on the head of my penis. however they never really gave me a clear answer on what it was and the treatment took months to work. eventually there was no sign of it.

just as things looked good though, recently ive noticed that after masturbation, under the foreskin goes red and the head of my penis is really dry and my glands seems to have a slight change of colour, similar to what it was like a few months ago, just without the red spots/patches. however after like 10 minutes my penis looks completely normal but after another 30 minutes, theres still some red under the foreskin.

i know its possible for balanitis and thrush to come back within six months but this is no where near as bad as last time but im concerned and its very similar to your issue and its relieving to hear that others are not too sure what this is either. if anyone finds any solution or can relate please reply
