Hi, I am 30 and I have exactly the same issue since I was 27. In the beginning it was not that bad but in the last 6 months it became an every day problem. It is exactly as you describe it, most of the times normal in the beginning and then it becomes mushy. Sometimes out of nowhere I have also pain bloating gas and liquid diarrhea. I made a fool blood test stool check and all checks for alergies in lactose gluten coeliac disease etc all of them were normal. The doctor said it is probably IBS he gave me colofac as medication and changed my diet to low FODMAP but didn't help. During Christmas I got sick from something else and I had to take antibiotics. that was the only period in my life I had normal stool, so probably antibiotics help on this. the day I finished my antibiotics prescription mushy stool returned back again. I am really confused noone gave me a clear answer on what is this. As a researcher myself I took control of this thing myself I did research in many similar cases and I start to believe this is either linked with stress or it is SIBO. I am not a medical doctor I am just an engineering Dr and researcher.

Do you have any other health issues except from this?

Yes a lot of abdominal pain cramps and gas. My intenstines always make noises like water pipes. It feels so weird.

i had abdominal pain with gas too. Excessive burping and stomach bloating. Sometimes I feel like my stomach is going to explode. By water pipes, do you mean like a leak? Cause I have that. I've been fine for some time now. Do you guys happen to take protein shake on a regular basis?

No I am not taking any protein supplement. the noise like pipes is like you hear noise like liquid in your gut. you hear the liquid stools moving in the intestines.

I found big difference in antibiotics. it helps so much. I believe it is

hi I'm on this website hoping to find some answers. I had blood in my stool freaked and went to the doctor right away. unfortunately because of this whole covid 19 thing happing they couldn't get me to see a specialist that could check me right away until this whole thing blows over. I had two stools mixed with blood. then didn't bleed anymore. I was very constipated and bloated, been trying to eat more fiber and drink more water. my left side has slight pain and sometimes right plus abdominal. my stomach has the bubbles and makes funny noises. hard to sleep due to the discomfort sometimes. after those 2 stools mixed with blood I went to constipation then diarrhea , then very broken down soft stool to almost normal. how concerned should i be? I still feel pain and some constipation not as bad as it was at first.

Do you have hemmoroids? This happened to me as well but the doctor found 2 hemmoroids. If this area feels weird itchy painfull probably you have a swollen hemmoroid. My doctor told me that this produces clear red blood and you can also see it in the toilet tissue. it feels like an injury in the anus. I use Anusol cream and becomes better.

But since i am not a doctor it is better to see your GP. if you are located in the UK use only private GP. Unfortunately NHS is very overwhelmed with covid19, and they do check up only in very urgent situations.

You nailed it! i have the same exact problem as you and exactly the same stool , i had small amount of blood and diarrhoea as well.

Worried about it now, worried that doctors couldn't find anything wrong with me. How was your diagnose? are you doing fine right now?

i understand that noises,it's so noisy that i can't sleep, i get that too... i have my colonoscopy schedule on 27 August. wish me luck.
