Hi all.  I've read the entire chain of comments.  I am considering scheduling for the ML procedure.  Saw my doctor today.  It is my regular gyn so we have a relationship and she recently began doing this procedure.  My concern was vaginal laxity not pain or incontinence.  She feels it will improve.  It is quite an investment of money so I was looking for some input.  No one has addressed how it has impacted physical relationship with partner.  I was hoping for improvement in the physical aspect of this for myself and my husband.  I'm not expecting it to impact libido just the physical aspect.  Anyone have any thoughts about this.  Thanks in advance.

Not interested in a sex life any longer so can't address that aspect of Mona Lisa

Physically it has improved things a little but I still have severe discomfort, almost a tearing, certianly heavy chafing during intimacy. Husband is being very good about it but I am still not getting anything out of our physical realtionship. Libido was dead and burried a couple of years ago I think. But it has improved. I am going back for more treatments as I feel that it has made a difference just not enough.

Hi I'm new on here. I had my 1st ML treatment on Monday. My issue is incontinence and the urgency to pee, vaginal dryness, and itching.

I had to have a hysterectomy at 38 due to Fibroid tumors, and endometriosis. I had menstrual problems for years. The doctor gave me Estradiol right after surgery and it's a low dose. But I have had incontinence and urgency since I had my son at 17. It just got worse after the hysterectomy. Then the constant UTI's. I already have kidney stones didn't need UTI's on top of that.

It's only been 3 days but. I didn't have any pain after the procedure. Felt like mild cramps the next day. Very mild. I really didn't have very much moisture but feel like I do now. The incontinence feels worse though. Hopefully it's just causes it's been s few days.

I'm hoping it helps in other ways too. Since the last few years I have no sensitivity in that area either.

So week 1 after having my 1st procedure I got a bad UTI. My doctor doesn't know if the procedure caused it or just cecause I frequently get them. I have noticed I don't wake up in the middle of the night to pee lately and the vaginal dryness is getting better.

Well I think I'm worse.  She shouldn't have done a fourth treatment on my.  I got urethritis twice between treatments.  Too much burning in urethra.

Why did you have 4 treatments? I thought it was only 3 treatments 6 weeks apart.

You can have 6 weeks doc thought it was a good idea.  Not good for me now.  Wish I had stopped at 3

So i had my 2nd treatmebt today. Let's see how it goes. I had a UTI ever since the last treatment. It just went away. Hoping this treatment will help not get anymore. Still been having that urgency to pee but probably due to the UTI. Sex has been feeling a little better and notice a difference in the vaginal dryness.

I was now diagnosed with contact dermatitis of vulva.  Have to put acquafor before peeing. Water bottle spray.  Then coconut oil.  Seeing doctor next week about natural hormone therapy.  This condition is from l lack of estrogen.  He said he's had many patients that had mlt treatment and have had problems afterwards.  He said I should never had them.  My burning was in urethra.  I believe what's going on is because of those treatments. Paid her $2000 to ruin me.

I am so sorry this happened to you.  What options do women have who are suffering.  Contact the person who did MLT    Estrogen cream  did not help me at all so if the Mona Lisa didnt  work I would still be suffering.  Doctors don't know what to do to help us.  ????????

Doing everything that doc said to do for contact dermatitis.  Was feeling good 4 days after I saw him.  Not doing burning first pee and raw urethra now.  Took oxy to feel better.  I am seeing my other uro on wed.  Might have urethritis hitch I had twice between treatments.  Seeing doc next tues who does natural hormone therapy.  I read that contact dermatitis is from estrogen deficiency.  He specializes in this and my sons gf raves about him.  He helped her.  So will try the natural route because I can take hrt due to history with breast cancer.  I know the natural route ins doesn't cover but I don't care.  I don't have quality of life anymore.  I cancelled 3 trips.  Can't go away.  Missed 3 concerts.  Don't go out much, anymore. Used to have an active social life.  My son is getting married next April.  Don't have the strength to look for a dress.

Hi I do hope this natural route works for you I am a great believer in natural healing, I cannot believe the problems that oestrogen deficiency causes, and its a minefield out there of what to take, I have had my first ML treatment and have also taken Vagifem reluctantly when I could not cope with the burning, also used natural yoghurt to soothe the burning which gave instant relief. I am now going to look in to natural alternatives after all we keep hearing that it is only westerners who suffer from this debilitating condition. Let us know how you go on, fingers crossed hope it works.
