Natural ways to Shrink Fibroids

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has been able to shrink their fibroids naturally?

I have seen a lot of stuff on the internet but a lot of it is confusing. For example they say exercise more, eat more greens, eat organic foods, eat less meat etc

What if you already do all of the above and still have fibroids? I am 5.6 feet and weigh 53kg or 8.5 stones or so, meaning I am a bit underweight. I use almond milk with gluten free cereal. I am gluten and lactose intolerant so already I eliminate a lot of foods. I cannot imagine eliminating any more foods without having a dull life. I exercise at least 4 times a week – 2 or 3 times at the gym and walk at least 20mins – 30mins every day.

Please can anyone share their story of naturally shrinking fibroids?

Thank you very much smile

Hi there... I would like to say in response to balancing hormones, please remember that soy (aka tofu) is high in estrogen and should be avoided when trying to omit fibroids.  To the question what is DIM... it is a supplement that is basically rich in the component that makes up cruciferous vegetables.  Also, being overweight is a cause/problem so exercise and weight reduction is recommended.  I would also like to add another possibility I have not seen on this thread... fasting.  When you fast your body begins a process called autolysis, in which it basically begins to eat itself.  Now, it will consume excess fat cells first and then start consuming all the dead/toxic and sick cells (much like a lion hunting the weakest animal in the wild).  Your body will consume fibroids, warts, cysts, tumors, etc... before it starts to consume healthy/muscle cells and finally, if you fast long enough the body will save the brain and heart for last.  Now... if you do a search for healing fibroids with water fasting you will see many great stories on people getting rid of their masses within 20+ days.  There are great links out there describing water fasting... I'll let you know how it goes as I'm about to start one for what I am assuming is a fibroid... I get my ultrasound on Monday.  My symptoms are excess bleeding, pain and a hardened mass.  Good luck to you all.  And also, after you are successfull in removing your fibroids,  please try to maintain an organic diet high in dark leafy greens and follow a healthy lifestyle!

    Hello,

Anybody had an MR guided ultrasound treatment to have fibroids, myoma removed? I'm trying to shrink mine naturally too first with herbal teas, green juices, healthy diet and exercise. But just wondering if this doesn't work i would have the MR guided focused ultrasound treatment in time as that can only be done to up to 10cm big myomas. Do you guys know if normal UK National Insurance covers this treatment at St. Mary's Hospital in London?

      Hi there

I have found out on Feb 29th 2015 that I have multiple fibroid (one 7 cm and other two small ones); I did my regular blood test and found out that I am anemic so my G.P recommended to Ultra Sound so the discovery of fibroids. My period is regular but lengthy one, last for 9-11 days for last 3 years. Next I visited Gyno. And she recommended straight away hysterectomy. I asked her about other non-invasive methods. She wouldn’t explain or listen to my queries. She has given me the operation date. I just walked away with upset and heavy heart. I hit internet and found lot of information including this form in next few weeks. I started as the girls mentioned here as my new regime. ACD, Molasses, DIM, Wobenzym, green tea, juice(green red and orange) lemon and since I am vegetarian  not much  change on food but avoided  white rice and wheat, also did yoga daily . My first period in March was a miracle. I had normal first two days and Vey heavy period on 3rd day and spotting on 4th day. Never happen in last three years! Another side effect in my diet change is I lost weight (75to 68 kg) more like I shrunk. But still has bulged lower Tommie. I am from Australia. I would like to do HIFU Treatment than any invasive method. My hubby insists on some kind of treatment. I am planning to see two more periods and go to India and will do the HIFU there (Since they have 4 to 6 clinic doing this treatment). I have done a phone consult with a hospital but I have to be in there do all checkup and weather it is possible for my case. I try to shrink a bit and be healthy before my treatment. I let you know how I progress. Good luck with your regime.

      Cheers

Hi. My name is Najs, I'm new here. For the last couple of days I have been reading the posts and it gives me some hope. I joined this site for support and natural methods to shrink my fibroid. My mother is the only woman in my life and has not been supportive or educating me on her experiences with fibroids. Only argues and stated she doesn't want to discuss it I do have a long lost half sister who is vegan, but we have no relationship in years...so I am here.

I'm 33 yrs old and I am overweight, fibroids runs heavy in my family. Even though I had already lost 19lbs so far and have been taking iron and vitamin c for one month now, I have been having heavy bleeding for 1 month straight and extremely weak and tired, so I went to the emergency room and was told I have a tumor in my ovaries about 6cm and that I was anemic. The ER doctor immediately suggested surgery to remove the fibroid and scraping of the vagina walls for the bleeding. I seriously want to avoid this at all costs. My doctor appointment is tomorrow and they may start me on some type of medication.

So far I have cut out all meat, dairy (although I mainly drink almond milk), 8 glasses of water daily, no sugar or carbs, no fried food. I mainly been eating homemade bean or split pea soup with plenty of Indian tumeric, fruit, and oatmeal. Perhaps much later I will get some organic chicken. I am creating a list of organic food and herbs to purchase this week for the fibroid. I don't know if its because of my recent diet change, but 80% of my bleeding stopped yesterday and today it increased some but not as much as I usually bleed, it was quite less. I also was able to get out and exercise today as I finally had some energy.

I really pray the new regimine will successfully work for me! It has always been my dream to have children, especially since I suffered a miscarriage 2 and a half years ago...any additional advise is great.

    So, here's some new information:

I've been on this crazy diet for a month and then I went and had a BioScan. Turns out I have a thyroid problem caused by a build up of pesticides and herbicides in my system from when I worked in the forests for the state.

I also found out that food is not what is causing my fibroids....it is my thyroid.

I advise everyone getting their thyroids checked.

So, I still am avoiding dairy, sugar, and caffeine, but I have wine, and vodka sometimes. I stay away from beer because hops has estrogen. I also stay away from soy for the same reason.

    The supplements I take are:

    2 Evening Primrose

    6 DIM-plus

    2 Turmeric

    20mg iron

and 2 propietary blend for Thyroid

I have a kale smoothie 5 days a week and eat only organic meats, and sparingly.

My 16-day periods are now 4-day periods, and I don't feel as bloated.

I think my fibroids are shrinking!

I don't go for an ultrasound until January when my Health Insurance kicks in, but I feel very hopeful!
