Natural ways to Shrink Fibroids

Hi missy!

I stumbled upon this website when I searching for remedies for heavy bleeding R/T uterine fibroids. I was diagnosed in December through MRI & US. Last time, my fibroid measured 10 cm. My GYN recommended myomectomy & to take NSAIDS for painful periods. I was all slated to make an appointment to consult with a surgeon, but then my mom was diagnosed with brain tumor that turned out to be cancerous, so I've been taking care of her since. All this time, I've been miserable due to heavy & irregular bleeding. I've been using adult diapers during my periods, but still have to change every hour. I'm miserable & my misery took me to this website. 

This website taught me that invasive procedures are not my only options. So, I want to alter my lifestyle first and go from there. 

Hi yes I tried several options. The first Myomectomy 2007 and was told I had tiny ones that would return (Which they did around 2011) Had the Ablation- Failed , Later found out I had fibroids again and possible Adenomyosis. Tried the natural way off and on (everything from ACV, Molasses, Castor Oil packs, Enzymes, Pineapple, everything the natural community says will shrink them. And I will say it works but you have to do the treatments aggressively, if not you will only aggrevate them and they won't totally shrink but get inflammed and cause more problems. They will go down but if you don't eliminate them, they will just grow again , so up and down. The medical community will tell you nothing works but their treatments, but that is a lie because when you approach menopause your etrogen levels decrease and that will shrink them also and I was able to shrink some before I had my UFE. I'm 46 but not in menopause yet. I have since had the UFE on 5/4/16 hoping for better and final results. Make sure it's a fibroid, because if it's the adenomyosis that is harder to treat and may not respond to natural treatment. that can only be confirmed by MRI.

Please for give my spelling mistake.

Short story:My partner & I have been trying for baby for 5 years.After two miscarriage I decided to see my docto to ask what was problem.She than say don't worry your still young etc this sometime what happens.I was called for scan after my second miscarriage just to check everything was all clear.It then one of the nurse who checking me said it look like you have fibroids.Ive never hear it before I was angry why didn't they see that on my first micarige?! I started to ask question what it my fibroids? The nurse told it's ok most women have it, you don't need to worry,you only got 2.I didn't trust them at all or any of doctor in London.So I decide to travel to France to have everything checked out.After scans check etc I had 6 forbids!!!

So I decided I wanted to have it removed.But I decide also I need to go on healthy diet after all ready searching of fibroids. I was in diet ...cut down on drinking whole milk ,herbal tea such as raspberry tea,milk thistle ,more water,less frying,more grilling,no sugar or salt, more soy,no white bread,more wheat,fish,organic meat once week.Swimming,jogging,excericise,Castro oil pack,more green.Most important avoid stress!!!

This was a journey I felt better feel better.So every appointment I had was in Paris travelling London to there.On the day of my appointment to have my fibroids removed I felt so relived! At last it's happening!i can live my life after this.

The nurse ask when was my last period?i told I didn't know cause the fibroids confused it all.So she told me to take pregnancy test...I told no need I won't be pregnant let just get on with it.They refused gave me pregnancy test,so dud quickly I just wanted this all done with.Walked in the room gave them pregnancy test,she looked at me and said Madame...YOU ARE PREGANT! So we can't go through with it all.I had shock on my face!please don't take this wrong I didn't if to be happy,cry,scared that it will happen again.So went back to London told my partner.We booked appointment with doctor,who said nothing can be done if I pass my pregnancy after 3month than everything should be fine.

Ladies,9 month pregnancy was so scary for me & partner we told none of are friends only parents and colleagues.

I gave birth to lovely baby girl who's turning 1 in 2 month.

I belived the diet worked & most of I had faith.

Just to let any women at there just have faith tip& stick to healthy eating!!!!

I'm planning to go back to have scan in couple month time to see if it hand shrink..ill keep you all updated!!!!

Hi, I've been reading through this thread and it's been a bit confusing with all of the deletions by moderator.  My question is... has anyone reported they have shrunk fibroids naturally?  And if so, what did they do?  It seems like maybe one person reported they did, but I can't seem to find it.  And were there others?

Also, if there are new people reading - have you shrunk fibroids and do you know anyone who has shrunk fibroid and what did you/they do?

I have located three people who have shrunk fibroids naturally.  One is on youtube that I have corresponded with - she did a 40 day water fast and said they were gone day 21.  That is great, but I have to work and could not do a 21 day water fast, but made me wonder if other liquid fasts would work.  (2) a friend who is now 50 said that she was told she had to have a hysterectomy but when she went back in for her annual they said she no longer had fibroids - she said that they tested her hormone levels that confirmed she was not menopausal. She said that she had been doing a ketogenic diet with intermittent but regular fasting, so I am looking into this. (3) a girl I know in her early 30s was supposed to have surgery, but said they shrunk and she has now conceived and could not before - she claims she tried everything and said it was chinese herbs that finally did it for her and infrared heat therapy. I tried the chinese herbs she used, but I had a contraindication with the medication I use so I had to stop.  I just got the infrared lamp today so we'll see if that helps and if I have enough time to use it properly. (4) Oh yeah, there is a 4th one.  She said her main focus was cleansing the liver and that she did a lot of colonics and coffee enemas along with diet changes.  I am trying all of these now, too.   Two of these four were closer to menopause age, so I still wonder if perimenopause had anything to do with it.  And I get confused about what each one has told me in depth (can't remember), I need to put together a questionaire to funnel each through including things they tried that didn't work, but some I have limited access too, since only one is a personal friend, two are acquaintences and the other is out in youtube land (but I do believe she is credible).

I need to hear more stories - please share any success stories you have or know about.  I need to find solutions that will work for me (ie. since i can not do the water fasting or chinese medicine).  And hopefully we will all find solutions we can use.

I have successfully done it, the difficulty is unless you are a doctor, chemical/drugs company or expensive supplement supplier you cannot get the message out and moderators delete messages.I understand they are worried about fraud. In my own experience laparoscopic myomectomy is the genuine treatment for fibroid in uterus and would be  performed a successful laparoscopic myomectomy treatment for my grand mother.  There is good article from TheBoringSate you should check it out.
