linda its a shame ray doesnt drive but i do understand how he feels about staying over at peoples houses i do hate that myself.. also im getting to the stage i dont even visit people now as if i cant sit up on the couch with my feet up i find it very uncomfy in other peoples houses. im also getting to the stage where i hate going to celebrations as i feel im j ust putting on a happy
face for those people who dont understand i dont want sympathy just a understanding of what i go through on a day to day basis.
anyway enough of my moaning... its only a week tomorrow till xmas day and i get all excited for my kids though my husband is a bit of a bah humbug lol...
hope ur all well today and hugs for those who are feeling low..

Di - My middle son still has the capacity to wind me up and make me feel guilty and he is 26 and a father himself.
I was also awake around 3 am, with a restless and angst ridden dog!!!

Glad you had some pain free time Di, even if it was in the middle of the night :!: I hope it carried on through the day.
Oh Ses, lttle ones pick up all sorts of words and habits we would rather they didn`t :!: I`m sure with your guidance he`ll soon realise it`s wrong. Does he go to nursery, my friends grandson comes home from his nursery with all sorts of awful things :!: She is horrified at times
Well, I`m sitting here exhausted, worrying about having Ray to care for over Christmas, and having my 80 yr old Mum to stay, who is very, very forgetful :!:  I can manage one on their own but find both quite difficult. My daughter is working christmas so won`t have her to lend a hand either. It`s stressed me out for a few years now, but I thiink it`s worse this year with the fibro I thought I was doing quite well this year but its suddenly hit me today.
Well, hope everyone is managing ok

I remember the terrible 2`s well SES. As they get older, its the same...just in a different way... I find the teenage huffs, puffs, grunts etc a pain in the a**, but what can u do. I keep thinking...oh this is payback time...and I remember some of the things I done as a teenager.. :D The joys of parenthood huh.
Connor used some choice words also. I remember once sitting in a cafe and a sweet looking little old lady came up to him and said hello. He looked at her and said F O!! I coulda died on the spot. Connor was like a little cherub when he was little. Big blue eyes and a mop of curly blond hair, and a mouth like a sewer. So don`t worry too much, they all do it.
My friend has a little boy of 7....and she always says to me...\"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME WHAT THEY WERE LIKE\"... I did try to warn her...but no, she didnt listen..
I hope everyone is managing and able to get organised for Christmas. Im sorted, and anything that isnt done ....tough!!
Ive just got to pop to asda 2moro for some snacky things and more coke etc. If I had bought them all on Saturday with the food shop....Connor would have munched his way through them by now... He is a complete eating machine!
Take Care All

I have had another tearful day and like Linda and Di I was awake until 4.30ish last night and we went to Asda today (first time out in ages and so I am goosed anyway after my daughter making the tea Ethan decided to pour it over his head and then of course he had to have a bath........... he settled whilst in the bath, it was only when he got out when hos tantrum started and then the Sh** hit the fan swearing and smacking me and so My daughters partner picked him up and I told him to put him in the push chair and let him have his tantrum there and then I kept asking him if he was sorry and he kept saying no and then I said would you give mummy a kiss and he said yes and held his arms out and wanted me after that ...... he fell asleep and it has been piece since .........phew I know how embarrassing you must have felt Lindy as I do so get embarrassed by Ethan's ways, but on the other hand he is so loving too!!!!
Bless you Linda, I do feel for you hun as I can give Ethan a dummy and sometimes he is sorted out, I do hope you have got all the easy meal options I bought today (the reason why I went to asda) already prepared veg so Mike isn't lumbered with it......... carrot and turnip, parsnips ready to roast, Charlotte potatoes, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings pigs in blankets and lamb, chicken or beef for choice (as there is 10 of us eating, chicken mainly for the kids as my children prefer chicken!!!! I hope you do have a good day hun xxxx
My hair I am happy with as she used foils and so I was ok pleased with it very much, chocolate brown underneath and blonde on top with bits of chocolate brown on top feel so much tidier, just back aches so much I think that is why I was awake all night!!!! 4.30 to bed awake at 8.30!!!!
So nice to hear you have had a good day too Di...... I guess you are feeling more relieved in yourself as maybe you have xmas sorted or something like that and so now you are feeling better in your self physically and mentally...... I do hope this makes sense......but like I have said before when you feel stressed your pain is worse and visa versa xxxxxx
I hope Tess is ok too xxxx hoping your ankle isn't keeping you awake too xxxxxx I hope Helen and everyone else is ok too xxxx

Not been feeling too good last couple of days with a bad headache. Think it could be hormonal. Ankle seems fine now and comes and goes like everything else. I hope everyone has a good Christmas and New Year.
A few jobs to do today then finished. Need to put marzipan and icing on cake. Then decorate. Couple of presents to wrap and maybe prepare veggies for tomorrow. Need early night tonight really. Had my daughter Steph and partner Ant come for tea last night. Chris cooked it then we all sat down and had a game of roulette and another game vital statistics. Guess who won both me! Was pure luck though with the second game.
Well Di, Helen, Alicia, Lindy, Linda, Sue and Ses and anyone I have missed have a good Christmas and catch up soon. Lets hope we have less pain in 2009!

I hope you are feeling better with your cold. Not very nice when you can't taste your food.
Well everyone had a lovely Christmas and really busy lots of late nights. probably explains why i feel so achy and stiff these last few days. Also haven't done any exercises for about a week and think that has been helping with the stiffness. Got to get back into routine and start them again lol. :cry.
Well dinner went well on Christmas Day cooking for twelve. Think need a bigger kitchen next year. only just fitted in and will have to find room for Sophie near or at table next Christmas. The little ones had lots of nice presents and Sophie looked lovely in her christmasy clothes. Molly like her high school musical dance mat and even i had a go. No jumping around for me though just touched the squares with my feet. Molly said I was doing it wrong lol.
Well hope you all Ses, Lindy, Linda, Di, Helen, Alicia and Sue have a very happy New Year if I don't get on again before then.
Get plenty of rest everyone.
