Newly diagnosed- itching??

Posted , 92 users are following.

Hi, I was diagnosed with genital herpes type 2 a couple of weeks ago. My first outbreak was horrific but the sores cleared up within 5 days on aciclovir. Now I've got really intense itching in my vagina and all around my bum, has anyone else experienced this? I've been doing quite a bit of research but itching doesn't seem to be mentioned as a symptom after an outbreak. It's driving me crazy now and really getting me down as I'm so uncomfortable, I'm so scared of having another outbreak as the first was so painful.

Thanks

I know this is old but I see that a lot of people posted a little ago. So this is my story. I randomly went to my Gyno and got tested for everytbing and came across that I have Hsv-2 from blood test. I have never had an outbreak ever, but I have just a little bit itching between my butt and my vagina or other words “tant” haha. I don’t really know what I’m suppose to look for, I know it’s itching and all that but I have medicine just Incase I feel tingling or some sort. But I’m just scared s**tless. It’s been a couple months that I found out and I feel so mad, betrayed, upset that I have this. I love that everyone here has it too and I finally don’t feel alone with this. It’s just so hard for me to explain to my partner that I have this because they don’t know much about it and he is worried. It’s just a stressful thing and I wish this wasn’t happening to me.

I totally understand. I'm glad you found his forum because so many people have shared to help us all feel more understood! The reality is there are soooooooo many different ways to contract the virus and most people don't know they have it because of minor or no symptoms at all. I would suggest continuing to do tons of research because although it's all very scary, the more research I do the more I am at ease... especially hearing everyone's stories and seeing how it may not really affect life much as time goes on.

I can personally tell you that it get better, just from doing home remedies and getting plenty of rest all of my blisters have almost gone, there is still some pain when I try and go for a wee and a little bit of pain when I am walking around a lot with skinny jeans on but the redness and swelling has gone down so much compared to 2 days a go when I was crying in Work because I couldn’t walk. It just takes a lot of time and patience

Though it may seem impossible now, it really does get better and before long you will start feeling much more normal again smile Have you taken any antivirals yet? His thread has a lot of helpful information will all sorts of remedies that have worked for various people. I personally advice you to start with antivirals to get through this first breakout (urgent care... it's embarrassing but they literally deal with it everyday). Then check your diet and add/take away things because this is lifestyle change. Then try the different remedies peoples have shared about smile Something will work awesome for you!

Have you taken anti virals? Also, this may not help, but try an allergy pill to help with itching. Helps with histamines ...potentially. And drink Applecider vinegar (it's gross but does a lot for cleansing).

The virus affects all of us different... I had sever itching it many different places on my body as well as strong full aching in my lower back. So many different symptoms it's hard to think they are all related to HSV but with enough research I've found that all of them check out. My husband coughs a lot... that's one of his symptoms. So annoying. Sorry for your pain.

Your first outbreak is always the worst. I have had those symptoms before. They are common when your body is trying to fight off a infection of any kind. Thia disease completely destroys your immune system. Stay away from sick people and take your meds. I don't take mine regularly because i have had it for 10 years. I only take mine when i feel as though im getting ready to have an outbreak.

How do you know when you’ve have you real first OB because I’m a newly diagnosed 26 year old and I’m freaking out over here not knowing. I’ve never had it experienced and actual sore just itching on both my anual/vaginal area even burning sensation when I pee at times and irritation so idk of that’s an actual full on OB or if they are mild? I did take acyclovir for a week and the symptoms when completely away but now I’m starting to get them yet again and I’m just going crazy feeling it will never go away now.

You will need to order 100%  oregano oil and purchase organic coconut oil.   you will need to place one drop of oregano oil on a Q-tip or your fingertip and apply on the bone of your buttocks along with coconut oil. Rub it in and the wash your hands immediately. Next purchase some mono stat for your Vagina.

You will need to cut out all red meat . Preferably cut out all meat for 30 to 90 days. No dairy product either.

    This will cure you.

No sex for 90 days as well

    THIS IS SERIOUS
