Hi Jeanpeen ..No Alli is not available here either at the moment ,,also when it is available its very expensive around £30 instead of the NHS prescription fee just over £7.50.. and half the dose.

just double up on the 60mg, thats what i used to do

Yes Thats the answer.. but doubling up means double the price .. which puts it out of a lot of peoples price range..

I was just so relieved to get a prescription off my doctor after I had such good results last time I used it.. and in the long run by getting our weight (cholesterol) etc. under control now in the long run we will save the NHS ..

Its a very hard struggle ..

Doubling up, I thought about it as well, but they are $45.00 plus shipping for a month's supply so doubling up may not be an option. I just wish they would get it back here, I'm sick and tired of being overweight

Roche should be issuing a press statement at the end of this month so next week I will start persuading them to tell us what the position is.

@toady, you are so lucky to be overweight. I wish I was but unfortunately with bmi 41 I'm 'severely obese'... and I don't see any way to loose it. Maybe surgery...

Oldbuster I doubt anyone is going to be able to persuade them to tell us considering they have chosen to keep it to there chests since January. it would be nice to get some answers but im starting to think we wont ever get it. Anyone you call or speak to just fob you off with the same old explanation (if tahts what you can call it)

PukPuk i think its come to the point where were all going to have to stop relying on the fact that it 'might' come back because its just depressing.

More exercise for me I think n less food to mouth.

Sounds like York, Wakefield and Rotherham have got it but I called my chemist at barnsley hospital again yesterday and they said they have called all of there suppliers and till havnt got any. They had a really small delivery last week (but didnt call me) and are expecting another delivery in the next 2 weeks. it really just isnt good enough.

The worst thing is that other area's of Barnsley may potencially have it but I have to get my first prescription from the hospital apparently. Sooooo frustrating.

I live in London. Probably will be last to get it...
