ovarian cyst,adhesions and endometriosis

Hi,Im a 39 yr old mum of 3 and i have had terrible abdominal pain since 2004,all the different GP'S i have seen have said i had IBS.Any tablets they gave me were useless. Then in feb i went back once again but this time was offered swabs and a ultrasound.GP was very rude and did not

want to refer me as she was sure i was waisting time and money. My ultrasound showed a 10cm cyst on my right ovary, the radiographer insisted that i didn't go back to the same gp again.I then saw my gyno and she said that my symptoms were also signs of adhesions and ednomitriosis, that i'd have to have a endoscopy in 3wks to see whats going on.She doesn't seem keen on doing anything about the adhesions but if im in pain i think they should.

Can you give me any advice please.I also want my ovaries removed their all i have left after a hysterectomy in 2001. THANKS.

Hi,Sorry i haven't been on to chat i have Bronchitis so i have been in bed for a few days and i have found 3 lumps in my left breast so they are sending me to the breast clinic.I never get any luck,my pain is awful as i haven't been able to keep any food down let alone drink mivicol,i'm living on water and rocket lollies. However i have a fab figure as i've lost 5lbs in under a week my pants are falling down.pity im to ill to go and show it off.If you have a gun come over and shoot me put me put of my misery i'm sure it would be cheaper than the vet. They have operated on my aunty and she seems to have picked up abit.I hope you are ok.

Know what you mean but animals seem to get a better quicker service than us humans probably because they don't have to rely on the NHS you really do have to laugh at times, perhaps we could put both bodies together and come up with 1 decent 1 between us, would be amusing to see the finished product (Ha Ha).

Hi,I expect everything will be slow at hospitals now i know some staff haven't been able to get in as they live out in the sticks. We had mail yesterday for the first time in 5 days poor posty was sliding everywhere.Thank god we haven't had any more snow i fell again yesterday and my left bum cheek is killing me,i can't help but laugh but there's no way i'm going to the docs about it,i know it's christmas but im not showing my behind to anyone ha ha.I bet your on pins for the results id be the same, you just want to know don't you.Saw my auntie yesterday oh shes so thin and trying to act as normal poor thing, they sent her home for crimbo and for the end i would guess shes staying with her son just up the road from us.They don't want family to come round over crimbo we've been told to all keep away charming.I know she gets tired but they could have put it nicer - family i tell you.She wants to see people and to chat it gives her comfort she told me,what will be willbe i guess.

Doesn't seem very charitable on their part would take her mind off it and i should think she would love to see relatives before she goes just to know they remember her and to say bye bye, i would go anyway if they don't like it they can lump it, some people just have no feelings for other people's. Still no results GP's receptionist called today as the GP i see is off a family emergency so would i see another said fine just hope he can tell me something, might try phoning the hospital tomorrow to see if they will tell me anything doubt it but no harm in asking. Hope your bum's better soon and if i were you i would wear socks over your shoes when you go out from now on stops you slipping on the ice try it friend told me and it does work although it does look a bit silly better safe than sorry.

The socks sound a good idea but the family are taking the mich and doing a whip round to get me bubble wrap so i can be covered from head to toe,I will get my own back don't you worry i will just wait untill they have forgotten how much they have teased me.We had 5inches of snow yesterday it stopped about 3ish this morning we are hoping we can get up the road to do some shopping tomorrow but we live on a hill and the cars are skidding all over the plcae but we are running out of food, fingers crossed.I went to see her last night and she broke down she was so glad to dee us,shes fed up of them treating her like a child i don't blame her.I told them if i want to see her nothing they can do will stop me and to think of her and not them selves. Her son and daughter inlaw are veggies and my OH was winding them up,he kept tell her he was sure shed fell better after a bacon butty,oh she was laughing they had faces like thunder no sense of humuor at all.

She needs to eat what ever she fancies not what they eat as they sometimes go right off food she needs all the vitamins and minerals she can get right now. Phoned the hospital and the Consultant's secretary said they faxed the results last Friday she also said i would be getting a letter from him shortly so might be getting somewhere at last. GP's receptionist phoned here on Monday and said they hadn't received them my own GP is off at the mo have to see them on Friday so they will be asked if they ever bother reading there faxes b****y idiots. Suppose bubble wrap is a good idea but not very easy to do anything in and i think they would moan and groan when they had to do all there own washing, ironing, cooking and cleaning. No snow here today but very cold and icy hope you get to the shop's and perhaps you can take her a bacon butty.

GP's receptionist called and said no sign of Crohns in biopsies so back to square 1 god knows what the lesions are in right hand corner either scar tissue or endo i suppose so back on the b****y merry go round. Telling the Consultant next time i see him nit prepared to live like this any longer have to perform Lapro to find out once and for all. Will not live on painkillers and AD's for no good reason so they have to come up with some sort of explanation other than IBS not prepared to accept that. How are you all over there have a good Christmas and wishing you and yours a better New Year
