Just wondered does anyone still have a large goitre? Ive noticed mine is still prominent especially when I put my neck up and look in the mirror,my right thyroid lobe is bigger than my left one and the bit that sits below my adams apple is quite prominent.
Like I said still feeling good but would like to know what has all think.

Hi Barry. I don't have a goitre now. I only had a small one, and one lobe was smaller than the other. Is yours the same size as it's always been or is it getting bigger? My eyes are dry and sore. I hope they settle down. Are your eyes ok? Take care.
Hi Maria. Sorry about your mum. I hope she's better soon, hospital visiting is so tiring. When's your new grandchild due? Our second grandchild is due at the end of April, we'll find out at the beginning of December whether it's a boy or girl. As you say they're a tonic, but where do they get their energy from? I could certainly do with some. I'm pleased you're feeling a bit better, and hope your appointment with your doctor goes ok.
Hi Jane. sounds like you're doing ok. I hope your hubby gets an appointment soon, he should if your endo is on the case. It's no wonder there are long waiting lists when they get you back to tell you something you already know. Take care.
Hi Deb. I hope you stop losing weight soon. Have you got a good appetite?
I still haven't put any weight back on, but I'm not losing any either so that's something. I'm enjoying my food more now than I have for a long time. I wouldn't go back to work until you feel up to it, you're the only one who knows what you feel like. How's your partner doing? Has he seen someone about his
thumb yet. It's disgraceful the way they've messed him about. Take care.
Hi Sue. Are you feeling any better? I'm thinking about you.
Thinking of everyone.

Endo was true to their word they got his referral on thursday and phoned him that day. We spent all friday morning in hospital So he could have lots of tests. I think one was the adrenal test that you had sue where they inject you and then take blood at regular intervals after. We were in complete shock when they showed us his scan. The picture is so clear and huge tumour so obvious, its not even in the pituitary space as it wouldnt fit. We can't get our head around the fact that he has no symptoms with it and is ok. Both doctors were very careful about what they said to us about it which in fairness was very little, other than the tumour is unlikely to be cancer and it's very large.
Go back on Tuesday for the results. Not sleeping and feel sick most of the time, under the circumstances it's probably normal.
Love to all

I'm hoping for a touch more advice and thought I would jump onto this thread as it seems quite active.
I was diagnosed about 3 months ago, and have been on Propanalol, carbimazole and levothyroxin, I have been weaned off the propanalol over the last 10 days and have not had any for the last 2 days, but have had the blackouts/dizzy spells coming back over the last 4/5 days, not as often as before, but still not nice, is this just a little kick from my body, and it will go away in the next few days or do I need to go back to the Dr?
thanks for your time

Jane, you poor love, what a horrible time for you. No wonder you feel so dreadful. I too am thinking of you. Thankgoodness things are now moving for you and you can get this sorted out.
Marigold, the dreaded migraine aura ! Just when you think its gone for good it comes back and has another go at you. I can go 3 months or so without anything and then have several over a two week period. I've noticed it starts off when I have too much going on and am tired. I hope this was just an isolated one, not nice for you.
Sue, thinking of you and all you are coping with, be strong lovely lady. Thank goodness for little ones making us smile.
Hope everyone else ok today.
Take care Bess xxx

are you both still into baking .My daughter with the thyroid had her appointment this morning and thank the lord its not as serious as we feared she has an outoimunne desease thats killing off her thyroid, she is now on thyroxine ...Jane i will be thinking of you both tomorrow as i am sure the rest of us will be .I treated my self to a T bone steak on saturday
 i have not had any since the mad cow scare  so thats what i am having for tea .My little grandson phoned me this morning as he wanted nana to his ear lol he babbles on and i cant understand a word he says
but i can pick out odd words he is trying to say so i go from there ,they say at school he is very bright and not behind other children his age ,his mum and dad are going to pay for an extra lesson with a speech therypist to see if that will help him and that can range from £70 to £120 the school authorities only give one hour a week Must stop rambing
