Penis foreskin cracks during sex, peeling skin, dots and spots [documented]

Hi,
First of all thank you for your time and sorry for the long post,
I'm a healthy 29y old male and in the past 8 months I've been having some problems when having sex. Around February I've noticed some cracks on my foreskin , at the time i didn't thought much of it, and it eventually healed up, after that, every time i had my foreskin would always crack in the same spots with the same pattern, and it started to appear even more cracks , when they happen during sex, i can clearly feel them and it stings a little, but after the act, i would clean it with lukewarm water and i would only feel an occasional sting or 2, and, along with the cracks, i also feel the area where the cracks are very very raw and sensitive to the touch, the rest of the penis is fine. In the healing process, after 1 or 2 days, my skin would feel very dry, accompanied by some peeling skin where the cracks where , that area of the skin, eventually they would heal up, but the skin in that area looks a bit darker than the rest , the dryness i would fight it with some moisturizer.
In all this months I've tried some approaches to tackle this without success, i used a cleaning solution with neutral PH and no fragrances, anti candida fungal ointment, topical steroid cream, fusidic acid and also elidel, already went to 2 different dermatologists, and the problem still persists, with a down side, that now, it seems to be getting worse as some dots started to appear on the glad and also on the foreskin area . Along with all of the this, the redder area of the skin sometimes when is dryer it also looks shinier. I'm posting here in hope of some advice of someone who has gone through the same thing. Before all of this, i had a normal sex life with no problems whatsoever.
Best regards, Thank you,

So without very much help from my Doctor, I have been clear of any signs of infection and the foreskin is well on the mend. being told i needed to get circumsized, I haven’t had cracks for several weeks now and I am hopefully never going to get a recurrence since it has essentially gone back to almost normal.
The first step is definitely to get rid of any fungal infection. Over-the-counter cream was fine for me. I also received a prescription for antibacterial cream with 1% steroid. I went through this regime leaving time to absorb between applications, approximately 10 minutes, for at least 3 weeks to ensure fungus was gone. During this time, it was washing with lukewarm water well, sometimes twice daily, and application of creams right after every shower. Also tried to avoid an erection.
by this time, fungal infection was gone but cracks still returned on occasion because the foreskin was still tight from the scar tissue.
Since then, I have used the steroid cream and a triple action Polysporin, again applied after every shower. The Polysporin would go on last to help lubricate and seal in the steroid cream and maximize the healing effects. I have been doing this for approximately two months probably more out of fear of it returning I’m sure. But the skin has healed considerably well and has become much more elastic over time. i have been ok with an erection but still continue to be cautious until i feel all the elasticity in the foreskin has returned. but i am confident that with a little more time, I will be completely rid of it all together. hope this helps in some way.

Looks like you definitely have a fungal/bacterial infection but it looks to be more severe case because it's been left untreated so long and spread but happy to tell you its curable if just skin infection!!! You should go see doctor immediately and if you've already come back negative for all STDs have them prescribe you prescription fungal and bacterial creams also refrain from unprotected sex and practice good hygienic practices.

Hello OP. I am fairly sure I had the same exact thing you described. Foreskin cracks, red spots, eczema spots, fragile skin (and shinier!), different color. I knew this had to be some kind of fungus because I f****d a girl and 3 days later this became an issue. This became a somewhat chronic cycle, have sex (or masturbate), cracks would open, take time to heal (or sometimes I wouldn't even let it heal at all), more cracks and bigger ones (especially one in specific), skin would get worse. If I got an erection, the skin would look all wrinkled (and ready to crack).
Initially I bought canesten (cream) but I immediately noticed it made my skin even dryer, so the issue would be even more aggravated. I could masturbate gently and still make news cracks. I decided to not masturbate/have sex for a longer period, but even if the skin would get better you could notice it was thinner, and the wrinkled/thin skin would be immediately noticeable when I got an erection (the red spots would come and go).
After 3-4 weeks, I went to my first dermatologist, but during a period where I abstained from any sexual activity so she didn't really noticed how severed it looked and just prescribed an ointment. It made the recovery cycle perhaps a bit quicker (and the skin stronger) but it didn't solve my issue at all. The problem was still there. Next time I had a big crack i took a photo to show to the doctors so they would understand the severity of it.
Went to my gp and she saw the issue (and the photos) and gave me an antibiotic (minocycline 100mg); a new antifungus cream (tioconazole 10 mg) and blood tests to do. The antifungus cream did nothing but make it even dryer (like canesten, the skin would look wrinkled even without sex!), antibiotic did nothing either and all the blood tests came back good. She told me I should see a specialist again. Before I left, I asked her if she could give me an antifungus pill instead of cream because the cream was f*****g me up by making it so dry, and she prescribed me fluconazole (only 1 pill!).
The fluconazole actually gave me diarrhea (1 time only) and after it I decided to do what a bunch already described here. Clean my dick as many times I could during the day (wash with cold water and dry a lot), abstain from sex and every time I masturbated I used a LOT of lube (vaseline) so that new cracks wouldn't open. After 2-4 weeks I felt much much better. I can't be sure what completely changed my condition (time could be an option) but I believe the fluconazole killed whatever fungus I had left and my cleaning habits and the lube helped my skin to restore itself (the skin was going through a never ending cycle of being damaged). It's pretty f*****g important that you really take care of the skin and stop having new cracks, if you can't refrain from sexual activity use as much as lube as you can. This wasn't a take a pill and get better in 3 days tho, the results weren't like that.
I think I am cured now because the eczema spots went away, no more red dots and the skin (the damaged part), albeit still a bit thinner, I can sense it with my touch its now similar to the other side. Since then I went to an urologist who said my dick is fine and advised me to use lube and another dermatologist that said for me to keep it hydrated (dermalibour )in the morning for 2+ weeks after I felt the skin got good. Today I can masturbate (even without lube) and have sex without new cracks. I hope this can help anyone reading this. This s**t was a huge nuisance to me, especially from a mental perspective.

Hi all
I am really excited to share my journey through the same situation. I really hope you all can benefit from this as below.
Firstly, so you know I had been suffering from the exact same condition and symptoms for past 4-5 months. I went to the doctors number of times and they gave different reason each time and different treatment. recently they referred me to urology (possibly penis to be circumcised) and appointment is still far away. so when I tried to search online I came across this thread and read all of the comments. The most common reference was fungal infection. I then decided to look for all the medications I had been given in the past, I then searched online which medication was issued for fungal infection. once I found it, I along with few tips from this thread started the application of cream exact 5 days ago from today. every day twice daily(morning and night) after shower I dried up the penis and applied the anti fungal cream...rubbed it for few minutes until it completely turns into moisture. I then applied vaseline on top of it for two reasons. one as protective layer on the cream and second as a moisturiser. Guess what, I started noticing difference from the second day. Now today, after exact 5 days, the rips and dryness completely disappeared. I am thinking stop the medication from tomorrow. In case anyone wondered, I still managed to have sex (without condom) regularly these past five days and vaseline has helped a lot.
oh I forgot to mention, in past 5 months It appeared whenever I used durex condoms it made the conditions worse. so dont use latex condoms.
