Penis foreskin cracks during sex, peeling skin, dots and spots [documented]

Hi,

First of all thank you for your time and sorry for the long post,

I'm a healthy 29y old male and in the past 8 months I've been having some problems when having sex. Around February I've noticed some cracks on my foreskin image, at the time i didn't thought much of it, and it eventually healed up, after that, every time i had my foreskin would always crack in the same spots with the same pattern, and it started to appear even more cracks imageimage, when they happen during sex, i can clearly feel them and it stings a little, but after the act, i would clean it with lukewarm water and i would only feel an occasional sting or 2, and, along with the cracks, i also feel the area where the cracks are very very raw and sensitive to the touch, the rest of the penis is fine. In the healing process, after 1 or 2 days, my skin would feel very dry, accompanied by some peeling skin where the cracks where imageimageimage, that area of the skin, eventually they would heal up, but the skin in that area looks a bit darker than the rest image, the dryness i would fight it with some moisturizer.

In all this months I've tried some approaches to tackle this without success, i used a cleaning solution with neutral PH and no fragrances, anti candida fungal ointment, topical steroid cream, fusidic acid and also elidel, already went to 2 different dermatologists, and the problem still persists, with a down side, that now, it seems to be getting worse as some dots started to appear on the glad imageimageimageimageimage and also on the foreskin area imageimage. Along with all of the this, the redder area of the skin sometimes when is dryer it also looks shinier. I'm posting here in hope of some advice of someone who has gone through the same thing. Before all of this, i had a normal sex life with no problems whatsoever.

Best regards, Thank you,

Hi everyone! After about 4 months of constantly putting neosporin on the cracking areas, I decided to pickup some Clotrimazole ($4 on Amazon) to treat the area after seeing some success from other people using anti-fungal cream. It's been about 2 days with the cream and I've certainly started to see improvement! I'll try update everyone on this thread if my treatment changes in any way. Good luck!

I tried Clotrimazole cream under the brand name Canesten every day for a period of 1 month with no sex, and unfortunately the issue returned immediately after....

Ahh thats great news, yeah it's not for everyone. It's making mine worse with more dry skin.

Also can anyone advise what their doctor/dermatologist/ urologist is diagnosing this issue as? It seems as though there are a lot of prescriptions being issued here but I have not heard of the actual medical diagnosis. Also can anyone advise if they have had a biopsy of the affected skin? A skin biopsy is the only true way to find out what is going on here in all these cases. A visual inspection is insufficient if the issue keeps returning after a prescription is issued.

i suggest everyone to stop eating so much sugar. i believe everyone knows how to clean themselves properly, but yeast can be coming from the obvious place, their partners sexual organs. now. after u have sex Everytime wash yourself properly with soao and water. do not get lazy about it. second. rinse/wash your penis after you ejaculate. ever time

even if masturbation. the semen can cause bacteria to grow under the foreskin. even if you wash yourself right after. do it again half hour later, as some semenn can leak out. wash your underwear with hot water. use vinegar if possible

lastly, stop eating alot.of sugar. i mentiined it twice because people who are diabetic or prediabetic, or even someone who is on their way to being prediabetic, or just someone who eats a s**t ton of sugar is going to be predisposed to yeast. i suggest also to use straight vinegar under your testicles and on your penis as often as possible while you shower. leave it on for a few minutes. then wash off .obviously do not put on ruptured skin. sorry for the long post but hope it can help.

I would say the vast majority of our issues aren't that we aren't cleaning properly, I would say that's its the recurring cuts and breaks in skin that is the issue. It's sexual intercourse that is causing the cuts, so washing after sex alone isn't solving the problem. I agree that cleanliness with help, but there is an underlying dermatological issue here.

ive had the same issue. the cuts are not the problem. but a symptom. its fungus or bacteria causing your penis skin to get thin and crack. you can be in denial and say its.not that you arent cleaning yourself properly, but there is obviously fungus or bacteria that is there that shouldn't be. im not saying you did something wrong, just that you need extra precaution. there is not a coincidence that its only happening to uncut men.

Hi guys, I've had this for the past couple of months and this started mainly when I use the lube excessively for sex. The surface gets shiny for mine by the end of the day.

I was given antibiotics initially which cleared it up but the 7 day course wasn't long enough. I've had antibiotics twice (flucloxacillin) . I also tried an antifungal cream (clotrimazole), but this felt like things made it worse. My problem is I get new tears everyday from erections, I'm a grower you see so when it heals and I have an erection and it tears right through. I need to go back to the doctor but I can't becuase of this pandemic. For now, I've been using just general aftershave as theres high alcohol concentration to kill off any bacteria and suprisingly its been helping. I'm not going to lie, it does sting like crazy and you have to be a brave soul, but after the stinging calms down it doesn't feel as moist or irritated.

Has anyone else had any tears, dry skin, shiny surface and itchy affect?

Has anyone actually found a remedies to resolve this?

stop using alcohol down there... the area is too sensitive and alcohol dries the skin

has anyone who got circumcised, helped the problem ??

    • Edited

Circumcision isn't a cure to this problem it's purely a fungal/bacterial infection and should be treated as such to cure as I've been circumcised since birth.

I am circumcised so this is not the problem. Maybe the dermatologist wants circumcision in order not to aggravate the condition.
