I also have horrible internal tremors. Been terrified that maybe it is something neurological. today I am really rumbling inside. I was told that it was a symptom of high anxiety, so I started taking wellbutrin. Well, ny parents came to visit for thanksgiving which only increased my anxiety so we doubled it and I am on the highest dose. The tremors subsided for awhile, but now they are back up to pretty serious. So I got online and found not only this forum, but also indicators that these tremors are caused by a vitamin deficiency. It was then that I remembered taking vitamin b12 while my parents were here. I was giving it to my teenage daughter who was having high anxiety too. I thought them tremors went away because of the wellbutrin, but they have come back with a vengeance. So I immediately took some vitamin B12 drops sublingually. It might take a few days, but I think it is going to help. I'll keep you posted. Other vitamin deficiencies that cause internal tremors are vitamins d and E. I am 37 and perimenopausal. Vitamin deficiencies are very common in this stage of our lives, so I am going to test my theory.

Thank you for this forum. I'm 48 and I'm now seeing that so much of what I've experienced is probably perimenopause. What got me on this site was the 5am internal tremors I had last night. I've had them during the day but never woke up with them. I hate them but maybe knowing what's causing them will help my thoughts not to go to crazy places. Sure wish someone had a good "cure" for them but it sounds like there's nothing to do. 😁

I have all the symptoms you all are describing I felt as I was going crazy. These are the hards things I have ever went though . I unfortunately have many other health issues that increase the symptoms like ADHD , Bipolar ,Anxiety, No Thyroid , Blood count is always low ,and take some meds that only triggers the symptoms which in return can make them worse . But I can live with out them. I have found that I can not only cut those symptoms out unless it is brake though Tremors . I also have been able to cut the meds in more that half of was taking before that either didn't always help to horrible side affects . Was easily fix by try CBD Oil . But you have to male sure it is the real thing when buying and using it .Do your research every aspect of the product and get medical advise on it . It can and it a great natural alternative.

I have this too. I'm 46 and have had it for about a year. I wake up and immediately feel it. It isn't noticeable but the things I hold (i.e. paper, water in a glass) shake. I can see my knees trembling sometimes when sitting. I'm on 10mg lexapro. My gyn and gp seem to think it is perimenopausal systems. My hormone and thyroid tests come back fine. I just had a brain MRI today to rule out some scary things.

I just stumbled upon this forum. I just started with the internal shaking a couple of months ago. I also see slight shaking when I hold a fork, a piece of toast, etc. At night, the heart palpations are so bad, I feel like my heart is going to beat out of my chest. I also started with muscle spasms too. I had an MRI a couple of weeks ago, and it came back clear. I'm meeting up with a neurologist next week. I'm nervous that it is something worse.

Hi Bobbie, I have never been told this. My tremors come and go and I have to say, recently have tailed off and I guess if it was neurologically related it would not ease up because the damage that causes Parkinson's symptoms do not tend to alleviate. I think they may be thyroid related too as I only have half a thyroid and it may be time to consider a thyroxine supplement.
Have you had any tests? And where are you? In the States or Britain?
