i’ve had these internal vibrations now over three years. yall describe it perfectly, and mine is all day everyday. sometimes its irritating and sometimes its soothing when im dead tired it feeling like a medicated numbing feeling... i tried to research over the years but really couldn’t find anything about it. I’m glad I ran across this discussion forum because it puts too rest that this may not be a serious issue and just menopause. some suggested a progesterone cream. how do u know how much u need and what do i need to know about it, also where to buy it? thanks for listening.

Hi ladies
Wondering if anyone is still active in this discussion? I googled internal jitters, Menopause and this appeared. Very interesting reading and I'm there with you all. We get such little support through this major change in our lives, don't we ☹!
I'm from the UK, 48 and been going through Peri/Menopause for around 5 years. Symptoms come and go and I've been for various tests over the years, all ok. Went to see a Meno specialist in March privately and she gave me an HRT Estradot patch, but not put it on yet, through fear of risks. Last 2 weeks, terrible fatigue, no sleep, sweating, aches, jitters, chest pain! I'm putting it on today, had enough. Has anyone had benefit from HRT patch?

Hi Julie,
I just completed month 2 on the lowest dose of estradiol patch i could get. (Also low dose oral progesterone).
I have had more good days in the past 2 months than in the previous year. I still have bad days when stress is high, but overall, it has made me functional again, instead of being constantly anxious, insomniac and in pain and trembly for no reason.
I was in bad shape, worried for my job and marriage, so I had to try something. I am so glad I did.
If it doesn't provide relief, at least you know to try the next thing instead of being stuck in a what-if loop like I was.
Good luck to you!!
Sara

Hi Sara
Thank you so much for your reply, we sound like we are going through the same thing. I read the guidance leaflet and still haven't put on my patch! Bit scared of the risks, but, I am so fed up of feeling unwell. My job makes it harder, I am a fitness and Pilates instructor. After reading your comment, I feel encouraged to try it.
Thank you x

Hi
I sympathise 100%, isn't it just awful! Have you looked into possible alternatives? I know someone who couldn't take HRT, due to having breast cancer, but sought help from a private specialist and now uses a low dose HRT pessary. May be an option for you.
I hope you can find something which helps. x

im 47 and have had the internal vibration for about 5 months... exactly as you describe above. Worse when tired and at night in bed. I find i can ease it with some box breathing, this calms the "anxious" feeling as well. this chat is super reassuring, im also in an active fb group - power surge, very helpful.

Hello Ladies,
I am 50 years old from the UK and have been suffering terribly with internal shakes and tremors for the past few months. I finally plucked up the courage to speak to my GP and had some blood tests last week - results due back tomorrow. I was relieved to find this chat as I have been worrying myself sick. The tremors are constant and my legs also feel wobbly but as others have mentioned they are more noticeable at night or when sitting still. My father has Parkinsons and my mother has MSA so I was/am convinced this is what I must have but hope not! I assume I have been going through peri/menopause for the past year or so as I have lots of other more popular symptoms. I have periods on and off still although nothing for the past 2 months.
Has anyone found anything that has helped with these awful internal shakes and tremors?

@lisa11401, I just found this forum and I read all the replies every day! I feel so alone. I have the internal shaking, sometimes I see it vibrations in my thumb, heart palpitations, muscle spasms, all day every day. This has been going on since May. I am scared to know what is actually going on!

Hi! I'm new to this forum. I was hoping someone else would join in on the discussion. I am shaking something terrible right now. I also notice a twinge in my right thumb. Anyone else get this? It makes me super nervous that it is Parkinson's.

Hello Maria,
I'm 48, I have had internal vibrations ans shaking since May too. The vibrating started mostly on the left side of my stomach and pelvic area and I could feel it in my left leg. I went to
the GYN fearing ovarian cancer and nothing. Now the vibrations are all over my abdomen and now in my right breast. I get some
burning and stabbing needle feelings too. My periods went from 28 to 21 days in March and are now 3 days instead of 5. Have you found anything to help?
