Premique Low Dose - Not in stock anywhere?

After many years on Premique Low Dose, I now find it is not in stock at any Chemists. Is anyone else having the same problem? If so, is there a similar HRT I can change to?

Hi Ailine I had all this. It is being made I just picked up 6 months worth! Pfizer are making it again. What it is - is every chemist has a different distributor. I walked into Boots yesterday and shoved it at the pharmacist saying see I told you it was being made! You need to change your distributor! He was gob smacked! The week before they got quite shirty with me saying definitely not being made! My chemist is Nu Cross Chemist, Hitchin, Herts. Good luck x

They are remaking low dose since February. We have all got it. Google all the chemists in your area and find who is doing it, then get a prescription from your doctor. Good luck

Premique low dose has been back in production since February this year; only the high dose variant has been completely withdrawn.

Please see the thread I started for more information: Premique low dose - pharmacies which CAN supply it.

Hi zibby. Will go to my doctor on Monday or at least try to make an appointment, don't know how to find the thread, have only just started using this patient info sight, and I'm not on Facebook yet, if you can be bothered you can let me know how to get the thread re the pharmacies, but I'm just glad it's back in production 😊

Hi Valerie. Low dose only definitely available. Tell your doctor about this blog that's what I did. Get a prescription then ring round all your chemists in your area, cos it's about their distributors. As I have said before. Boots told me that Pfizer definitely were not making it anymore. Zibby told me to persevere. And just around the corner was a small chemist who said yeah we can order it for tomorrow I nearly fell over! 😬 but had to go back to the doctors cos Boots had crossed out my prescription! 😤. Have been taking it for a month and feel like my old self, like you after 5 Months of hell.I also went back into Boots and showed them my tablets - they were gobsmacked!

      Good luck

      Sharon

Thanks Sharon, might go to a few chemist and see if they can do the same and order it, then go to doc to get a prescription, will let you know.
