I managed to have 2 reasonably decent days last week strangely, no idea how or why as it's been permanent this pressure all year, yet 2 days of last week the pressure subsided a little and my dizziness finally subsided just enough that I actually said to my gf, wow today has been a 'good' day, in the sense that I would say I felt about 75% the normal me.
Anyway, it was short live as the day after it came back and hasn't gone away again since now. Something physical is causing this and I am getting so angry it's unbelievable. Do you all get the horrible pressure in the back of the head too though? Not many of you seem to mention this, like I have all of the same symptoms but head rushes, immense dizziness and back of the head pressure are very prominent symptoms for me

I get pressure in the back of the head too. Also a dull pain in the base of head and neck. Yes the headrushes are awful and extreme dizziness. Those three are definetly the most prominent.

Does anyone get tingling on the top of their head too?

I tend to feel the pressure depending on my head movement. Tend to feel it sort of behind the bridge of my nose and puts pressure on eyes.
I did used to feel it all over my head on the back as well if I did something physical, but all I do now is walk and sit.
I also find I ache in back of neck and temples. I had sessions with a head Physio who said this was due to muscle tightness because of what's happening inside my head.
Generally now I wake up and feel slightly hung over although I haven't drink in a while, pressure builds up the more active I am and reduces if I sit down.
I like you feel slightly better some days and worse others. I'm back to work next Monday and don't think I could manage it. It's mental how debilitating this is.

This goes out to everyone. It's taken from a site written by a doctor. I'm not saying this is what we have, but it could definitely be related. Have a read and discuss.
Sphenoid sinusitis is the least common sinus condition (only 3% of sinusitis cases).
The sphenoid sinus is at the very back part of the nose and sits just beneath the base of the brain (neurosurgeons will often go through the sphenoid sinus to get easier access the brain for pituitary gland operations called trans-sphenoidal hypophysectomy).
The big problem with this rare cause of sinusitis is that infection of the sinus may cause a bad, dull, non-descript, vague headache that will not go away.
Classic sinus symptoms like a runny nose are usually not present, so the diagnosis is often overlooked. The headache may be made worse by changes in posture, walking, stooping down or prolonged standing.
The pain of sphenoid infection is so severe that really strong painkillers like morphine do not work, and the pain will often prevent sleep.
What does the medical literature tell us about Sphenoid Sinusitis?
The location of the headache can be almost anywhere. The nerve supplying sensation from the sphenoid sinus is the posterior ethmoid branch of the ophthalmic division of trigeminal nerve.
This could result in pain being felt in the eye, or forehead. Some people will have pain in the back of the head (about 25%), or pain on top of the head (about 33%).
No single pain location is diagnostic. The pain in these cases can disrupt sleep. (Remember that hypnic headache is also a cause of headache that disrupts sleep).
In my own practice, I have probably seen only 2 cases that would meet this criteria in the last 4-5 years.
One had facial pain, the other had pain in the top of the head.
In Northern Ireland, where I practice, 20-25% of all people referred to me have a headache disorder. I estimate that chronic infection of the sphenoid sinus causing chronic daily headache must either be rare or frequently overlooked.
Blurred vision can also occur, as the main nerve from the eye - the optic nerve, passes very close to the upper outer boundary of the sphenoid sinus.

Hello Thank you so much for your reply. I don't really have any problems that I am aware of. The doctor wouldn't even think about a sinus infection when I mentioned it and insisted it was a migraine but this is not a migraine its pure pressure that is causing a massive amount of floaters from zero to about 100 in less than a month I can't do anything. I work as a chemist and I can't handle safety googles on. I went home yesterday and begged the doc to see me and I mean BEGGED and they brushed me off. I am going to need help driving soon its so bad. He just gave me an NSAID shot and it did nothing. I tried sudafed, NSAIDS, humidifier hot bath/shower for the steam, nothing helps. It is sometimes better right when I wake up and for the first 5 minutes no floaters then boom pressure and floaters. Im feeling hopeless reading this feed, no doctor seems to care and mine certainly don't and no one believes me or understands. I am at my wits end. Thank you for your reply I appreciate it.
