Hello All. Sadly I commiserate with all of you. I developed my symptoms in 2000- so yes, for 15 years I've dealt with this condition. It's waxed and waned in terms of severity, but it has always been there. I've seen 20 doctors over the years and still no diagnosis. Scans and blood work are always negative. Just had a MRI brain and spine. My spine showed some "minor" things at my cervical and lumbar spine. The doctor did make note that my septum was deviated. Anyways, I see a headache specialist at the end of this month and have September appointments for an ENT and ortho. The comment about the SIBO and histamine problem made some sense to me, so I'll make an appointment with a GI doc after the September appointments. I'm desperate, but sort of numb since I've suffered so long. However, I'm now married with kids and this is interfering with being able to take care of my family. I need answers now. Best of luck to everyone on their journey and I hope we can find a cure!

Hi I live in the U.S. I've been experiencing very similar symptoms to almost all of you; the most signifcant is the constant head pressure. I had walking pneumonia and then a week later i was in a skateboarding accident. Then, 3 months later the head pressure started and hasn't left except in a few instances. It's been almost 2 years. It's interesting to hear about sinusitis becasue I took a severe sinus tylenol and the pressure on the right side went away but the left side doubled... This only lasted 4 hours and returned to normal, but I've tried this before and it hasn't reciprocated. I've been recently diagnoses with POTS, which stands for Postural Orthosthatic Tachyardia Syndrome and can give you head pressure. Also, I've tried Atlas Orthogonal which has helped a lot of people with upper cervical misalignments but it didn't help me. I think it's good to talk to others who are going through the same stuff but we need to figure this thing out, for real! I'd like to know the preceding events to the head pressure with you all to see if there is any clue leading up to the beginning of it. Also, anything that helps the head pressure or any clues are greatly appreciated. Don't ever give up on this; it's prominent, there is a cause and I'm determined to find it. I'm only 18, but I'm sure as hell not going to let this affect my life for years to come; we are going to figure this out. Good luck and God bless.

Dear Net, (And all who are suffering)

I was diagnosed with anxiety at 14, ever since I have been on the varied regiment of pills and treatments. Around 15 I had a psych eval, the "ink blot " test. I didnt really have a choice after the concluded I had bipolar ( at the time it was a blanket term, no I or II, ) Seroquil - i hated , Risperidol - brain+ liver damage, Zyprexa - eating disorder side effect, one year later I gained 100+ pounds and Type II Diabetes, lastly I was on Abilify for 10 years - for some reason the higher doseges created or exaggerated urges to do coke, at 20 mg of apriprizole for three years, and a heavy addiction enabled by the antipsychotics, I ceased the Abilify, Less than a half a month later I QUIT DOING COCAINE!!! Mind this, when I was first diagnosed with Anxiety in the mid 90 s, I was 14, my grades were ok, I never touched drugs before doctors prescribed my first antianxiety meds. I never drank alcohol until I was 19, I have been smoking weed since 21, and I smoke tobacco, still.

After stopping the Abilify, I got rapidly better, mentally. I wanted to rid myself of the Klonopin addiction, I have been on that for more than 5 years. I am still taking Klonopin, I had to raise it to 1.5-2mg a day, I desperately wanted to rid my body of all the toxic pills.

All my life I noticed a hum/noise/sound, The awareness of this frequency goes up and down, I can focus on the inaudible sound, hear it, but no mic can receive the noise,  I heard of the Tao Hum before, but it didnt click until I could no longer ignore the noise. I hear a faint hiss, like electic, metal grind, thousands of needles falling, or akin to the 'Train stopping in the distance...forever' , description. When the noise is intense, my head throbs with a constant pressure, I dont have to be aware of the noise either, the pressure is so intense , yesterday on Aug 19, 2015, I had to rush to my mothers room, and at one point she called EMS, I, like many others have had a bad summer, I have been stressed over many things, but yesterday It felt like something was ripping my soul out of my body. The pressure started small, grew so uncontrollable I got sensitive to both light and sound, As I lay on my bed trying my best to calm down, I had a transcendental experience, like something ripped the veil from my perceptions, Things and thoughts NOT MY OWN, stated sounds and messages of things so BLACK I freaked, Trying to chill, I was disoriented, confused, hyperventilating, crying for help from anyone, at one point I cried for Christ, ( I was baptized catholic, but I left after my first anxiety attack), lying in the ambulance I almost passed out, the EMS responder was a dick to say the LEAST, I didnt tell him a thing, I lost strength in my Arms, just before I thought I would die, I came back somehow, I asked ' if this is just anxiety and I calm down, may I go inside my house and sleep, ' only ' if you get your pulse to 100, in the grip my pulse was pushing 200 leveling at 175, finally I got to 102, He suggested that I be on Zyprexa, the same pill that gave me diabetes. All the times I was attending psychs and trying to work through this whatever Not one pill, nor method or treatment ever eased my suffering, I need to regain trust lost in western medicine, it seems like there is less and less help, I am on Medical, and I cannot find Any doctor, compassionate enough or in way of tolerance to help me, and if I do, The price is Astronomical, or They do not take new patients. I feel like hell is either on Earth, or a much more peaceful place than in my own skin. For years I have bern told, I'm sick and need pills, I'm crazy, Manic, or Scizo. I can say I AM MORE SANE THAN THOSE WHO KILL BY WIRE, JOIN THE ARMED DEATH SERVICES, OR VALUE ENDLESS PROFITS AND SUFFERING over the ease of humanities pain. I love myself and am alive today, I am also trying to find help, in a country that scapegoats the needy and rewards the barbaric, I can say , without a doubt, the civil struggle of the future is colorless, it will be those who suffer versus those who endure, all with the sanctity of a signed piece of worthless paper. I need help, but the help I need isn't here yet.

I am so sorry to hear you have been on all

That medication since you were 14. I believe in prayer when nothing else works. Cast all your cares and anxiety upon The Lord. Take lots of vitamin b take magnesium and zinc . Look up natural remedies for headaches and migraines. Look up vitamin deficiencies that can cause our symptoms . Believe it or not they work. Apple cider vinegar can work wonders for anxiety and sinus issues. Try every natural remedy out there . All

Together they can begin to heal us. I've felt a bIt better.

I've been trying to find the cure for all of these symptoms also.  I'm amazed how many of you have them.  Mine started with ringing ears about 2 years ago and now that continues along with hissing and head pressure.  I did go to the chiropractor for a while and had some relief with that, he would adjust my neck and then I had a muscle stimulator all over my neck.  Occassionally I would leave and get a moment of peace with no noise and no pressure, it was heaven.  Then it would come back.  I am wondering if you have had any relief with the magnesium, that was a new one on me.

Hi, I'm inersted in the hissing sound you hear. When that happens does the head pressure reduce or go away for a few hours.

I once experienced the hissing sound, it was as if air was being released inside my head and for the rest of the day and part of the next day I had no pressure or any symptoms that went with it.

I think that might be the key into finding out what is wrong. It's as if there is trapped air that over time has a different pressure than outside the head so when we move it causes this awful pressure, as if on a plane but more inside the head as apposed to the ears.

Do you also find that moving and bending over increases the pressure and sometimes you feel light headed?

Teresa, thanks for your reply. I looked it up and I don't get the dizziness. I feel like there is pressure mainly in my left temple, sometimes across forehead. But I am wondering if maybe I don't have different kinds of headaches because sometimes it bothers my jaws or around eyes.

It very strange theses symptoms must be linked somehow to ears , I will do some more research on this as I'm just as puzzled about how can a pineal cyst affect the eyes

      talk soon

      my best to you

My hissing sounds in my ears started from nowhere. About 1 1/2 ago I fell asleep in the afternoon on my couch and when I woke up all of a sudden I had this ringing, hissing in my ear. Ironically about a month later I had an incident where I was shopping and went down to my knees unexpectedly. Went to the ER was diagnosed with vertigo and from that time on I have had dizziness, head pressure etc.  And this all started with the ringing in my ears after a nap. Weird

I've been dealing with constant head pressure for over 2 years and I just recently got a diagnosis of POTS... Which is Postural Orthostatic Tachcarydia Syndrome... Been treated for it currently however no change in head pressure. Wondering if anyone has head pressure and POTS and if they have found things that help...?

Do yuo really think you have POTS? Does your heart rate massively increase when you stand up or do you feel constant head pressure all of the time made worse when walking?

I have had pressure in my head for well over 3 years. I think I know whats wrong with me. But it seems as if my doctor is clueless. I had severe whiplash 4 years agi in a car accident. I have 3 ruptured discs in my neck and 2 bulging discs. I think the pressure is fluid build up from spinal stenosis

But thank you for this thread. It has made me more determined (after a simply miserable day & night) to finally get something done!

I also find that not only do I have headaches, pressure in my head but I also have severe chronic sinus congestion &/or swelling and watery eyes.

    I wish you all well

      Hey

I can relate to your story 100%. I have had the head pressure for nearing 3 years too. I also have super bad congestion and post nasal drip. ENTs have said its normal. I know what is normal and it is not.

They found 3 bulging discs in my neck too. I however don't know how I got them. I am being treated by a chiropractor currently. But I also think there is something sinus related that the ENTs have missed.

You should check out the email group a lot of us have joined. I was at a point of giving up and just living with this too. I had a really bad head day a few weeks ago and decided I cannot just deal with this. I have to find out what is causing it. Knowing there are so many of us suffering with no answers has empowered me to search harder. Hope to hear from you. Until then take care. -Thera
