Does anyone have a throat sensation, not like a post nasal drip, associated with your head pressure?  or throbbing at the bridge of your nose?  The throat sensation makes it hard to sing and even talk sometimes.

I often feel the pressure behind the bridge of my nose and it does seem to affect my throat.

Do your symptoms increase with movement eg bending, walking, running etc?

I do feel throbbing on the bridge of my nose but it doesn't get worse when bending. The throat sensation feels like a cat w a hair ball. I can't sing and it affects my talking. Not sure if it is an allergy?

I do, definitely. It feels like the pressure in my head is somehow radiating to the back of my throat.

somethings that help me and I doubt will work for everyone

driveing with the windows down in my car

standing in front of a fan

sometimes ill use one of those electronic muscle stimulators with the pads

all these things are  stimulating to my nervous sysem and give it something else to focus on besides the pressure in my head

    swimming/exerciseing helps me also

i am very chemicaly senseitive and certain foods will make it much worse especaily anything pychoactive caffine alcohol nicotene

marijuana gives temporary relief for max one day but then my symtoms return

     makeing up for lost time

fresh kale juice wich must be very fresh realy helps me to

some of these triggers sound similar to POTS, which can cause the head pressure

I'm not sure how helpful mine would be but my pain and throbbing sensation recently started, every movement seems to trigger the pressure followed by intense pain. I was just diagnosed with strep throat and an inflamed left ear. I just started medication it's now been three days and the pain is still there prior to this diagnosis I was recently experiencing a top left molar issue but the dentist claims its sensitivity and not a cavaity I do have an old Mercury filling on that same molar that has bothered me.

Try Yoga. It really works. It may take a couple of months of daily yoga, but it does something to center your pressure points and alleviates many ills. I tried it for anxiety, migraines and stress. It really helped. Once I stopped doing it, everything came back full swing. I am about to start it again. Hot yoga is especially good. Mental health therapists are raving about the benefits of yoga. look it up!! Also, many natural foods help alleviate stress-like and abxiety like symptoms. Look it up. Any little bit helps.!! Good luck and much health to you.

I was wondering if anyone has the constant ringing and hissing in the head with pressure.  Also I was wondering if there was a link between medications that contain steroids.  Mine started with an inner ear infection, treated with steroids, then nose spray containing steroids, which I was on when I was getting shots in my heals of steroids (cortizone) then I had a shot in my knee and now my eye doctor was treating my eye glands with what else but steroids.  I keep thinking there has to be a solution to my head but now I'm wondering if there is a connection and how long will it take to remove all of this from my body to see if there is actually an impact.  Does anyone else have a link like this?

Hello All , even i was having the same problem like nauseaitng sensation , pressure in head , i was worried a lot got n number of diagnosis done , doctor advised me for anti depressant tablets , i knew i was not depressed but still took it for two days later decided not to take it . i thought of changing lifestyle because all these problems are arising due to our modern lifestyle. so here is what i did

    1) i researched on lot of things like different habbits that i have a)coffee b)smoke c)no physical activity d) no fun games e) no travelling to different places

    2) after knowing my problems i left drinking coffee coz it has caffein in it quit smoke till the pressure lasted practised yoga played social games where i had to interact with people arround me and regularly took break went to travel for 2 days in a week which kept my mind expeience different things which made me forget all the things

if you belive it or not 80 % of the pressure and all the weired sensations that i had vanished within 2 weeks in mean while i was drinking mildhot water with honey and lemon (ayurvedic medicine) you can add ashwagandha as well .

now i am completely fine hope it helps lot of people here

Hello everyone, I think I have been experiencing the same thing for about 5 months now. I usually only get it at work and when I'm driving to unfamiliar places. I was getting really lightheaded at first and now it's pressure like I'm in a plane and can't relieve the pressure. It doesn't hurt. I don't have any pain. I feel out of it, foggy, trouble focusing, sometimes trouble putting my words together/ confusion . My doctor diagnosed me with inner ear infection labyrinthitis. I went to an ENT who pretty much laughed at me and didn't understand why my doctor diagnosed me with that. But I have an appointment this week with an audiologist. If they don't find anything then I will be going to a neurologist. I'm supposed to be taking a new job soon where I will have to fly for 14 hrs in a plane and I'm thinking I might have to turn it down because I don't know if it's safe to fly. Has anyone flown with this condition and how did you feel?

Hey I flew this past December and it was pretty painful but I managed. Just prepare for ear pain. Maybe get ambien from your doctor so you can sleep through the flight. I don't want to downplay the pain because it was the worst ear pain I have ever felt and can't imagine it hurting any worse but nothing happened except for that. The head pressure wasnt worse it was just the ears. Good Luck! I have had this for 3 years now so feel free to ask me any questions. I hope your doing ok. Good luck at your appointments.

Thanks, Mike. I haven't had caffeine in years, many years. I have cervicogenic syndrome that affects my neck, skull, ears and jaws and was recently in yet another rear-ending wreck that set it off in the first place.

Good luck to you. It ca be a debilitating mystery to discover what might work for you.
