hey, this is happening to me for over 3 months  now! Has anyone find a solution yet?

Hi Alan, I am terribly sorry to hear that you're suffering so badly, I hope by now you have found a solution but if you have it here are some things to try.

First of all, have you considered your diet?

Depending on your age and your weight some of these factors may have a major impact on your head and your health. For instance if you're overweight, or if you eat too many high sodium foods, you can raise your blood pressure. Make sure you check your blood pressure often.

Also do you have a lot of dairy and/or nuts in your diet, or dairy like products such as Almond milk, cashew milk etc. also remember that a lot of people have allergies to walnuts and cashews. For me personally cashews give me throbbing head pains.

Make a mental note of what you're eating. Do a food diary see if something you're constantly eating is giving you that had pain. I pray you feel better Alan. God bless.

    Hello Alan, everyone

I am 26 and also suffering head pressure starting from September 2015. Before I start please mind that I have never ever been strugglimg with ANY health issues back in past.

So I was sitting with my laptop replying some emails and bang! I started feeling horribly depressed, no power to do anything and this extremely head pressure... I started panic so my heart was about to explode. Well tbh I thought I am dieing, even said goodbye to all...

Eventually my gf took me to gp where she suggested to take me to the emergency. Then I have spent 5 absolutely depressing days in the hospital. Did me some stress test, heart echo, head scan and stuff and... Nothing! I am 100% healthy regarding to the results. I left Hospital with no answers...

Then I decided to go to the psychiatrist where doctor diagnosed me with adjustment disorder. I am not taking any hard medicines yet, only herbs based pills with Valerian and St James Ward. They are slightly helpful.

Doctor also suggested to start psycho therapy which I am attending. For some reason I am feeling better, looks like I have some neurosis and fear problems from my childhood we are working on to solve with the therapist. At the Christmas time I felt almost like always but for last 5 days again I am experiencing bad mood and pressure...

It's kinda funny, I am funny and easy going guy and that kind of issue is happening to me...

I am living in Dublin, Ireland (moved here in August). If you want to talk and or share your story please let me know.

P.s these are things helping me

    Coffee

Alcohol but can put you in a bad mood at hangover so b careful

    Sport activities

    House activities eg tiding

    Work

    Family

Try to make anything you are doing into a small success. Small but still success.

    Wish you all best

    Matt

Just curious,do you wear glasses,if so do you have astigmatism?
    • Posted

Could astigmatism be involved in causing these symptoms?

Why do you say this. I have astigmatism of my left eye, I however don't think it's got anything to do with my symptoms.

Hello guys! I have also had this problem a year ago and now I am feeling much better than before. Everyday I felt head pressure until I had enough and went to a neurologist he gave me fluoxetine 20mg. It went great you guys have to give it time.. You may have werid side affects but is due too medicine don't freak out ! Another thing that came across is after researching the Internet for a while this is all can happen from Lyme disease please get yourself double checked because Thoses tests are not all accurate. And remember if positive with Lyme always remember detox your body ! To get rid of Thoses unwanted bacteria! Good luck to all !

    Hi All,

My symptoms just started 4 hours ago, after I had a smoke, not my usual brand though. (Does any of you smoke Kents?)

    Symptoms:

Pressure from inside to out in brain. Especially in ears and cheekbone. In addition, small to medium volumes of noise, much like tinnitus but less annoying.

Funny enough, saw a comment with someone just like me: a lump developed behind my left ear a couple of months ago. Not sure if connected though.

    I am positive that:

    I was not under stress;

    I do not have anxiety,

    No CS,

I may sound dumb but the pressure started in that moment i smoked my friend's brand of cigarettes. Gonna blame British Tobacco lol.

Hope anyone got a name for this friggin thing.

I also faced that issue i will say there is no need to worry. Because it happens due to the heat in our blood.... As v dont do aerobics.. Excerccises.. Our busy lifstyle... May B ........ The reason behind that........ Most of doctor knows about that but dont know why they suggest such expencive teest..

hello to you all. i see this is a thread over a year old but i was just curious if the original poster alan14588 was still active and if so if he may have an update to his original post. before i continue i should add that i suffer from panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. i too have been suffering from constant head pressure for about a month and a half. i would like to share some symptoms of mine as well as some things that seem to help a bit and maybe compare them with things you all may do that help you deal with the pressure. mine is there pretty much from the time i get up to when i go to sleep at night. the pressure is located on my forehead most of the time but can radiate to the cheekbones, temples and bridge of my nose. my ears feel a bit full. i also feel some discomfort on my upper jaw..towards the back under my ears. the pressure is constant but will sometimes get more tense during random times of the day....then returns to a dull pressure after a few minutes. as for the things that help me deal...i have noticed that when i chew foods the pressure seems to be less. i also notice the the pressure is duller anytime i close my eyes and relax the muscles in my face and scalp above the forehead. i have done alot of reading on possible causes and im almost convinced that in my case my problem may stem from a few possibe culprits..and they are all anxiety related. one possibilty is grinding my teeth at night which can be caused by anxiety and would explain the dull pressure on the rear of my jaw where lower jaw connects with upper jaw.... another possibilty may be my tense neck muscles which also are a result of my anxiety. when i turn my head to the sides (especally to the right) i feel a tighness from the base of my neck under my ear to the center of my upper back between my spine and my left shoulder blade. these could be tension headaches i am dealing with which could also stem from the anxiety. apparently all of these things cause sinus-like symptoms. do any of you do anything which lessen the pressure apart from taking meds? people tell me to just try and keep my self busy (which i do) and try to ignore it but sometimes it just to be too much and i feel i am going to break. it saddens me but at the same time its good to know that i am not the only one going through this. i hope you are all doing better and perhaps someone has found a way to help us all deal with these symptoms. maybe alan14588 can give us an update to his situation.

hi new56862. i actually did check information about sphenoid sinusitis but of the list of symptoms shown i only have the pressure in the cheekbones and the bridge of the nose..and these usually happen when my anxiety is at a high level. by the way, are you a member of healthunlocked . com? i believe you sent me a request there to join your email group. i have not been able to log into that site for weeks. i have contacted them several times about it and was told i would be contacted by a member of their support team..this was over a week ago and nothing yet. i sent them another email just recently and no reply.
