Pressure in head!!!!!!!

The last 9 months, I have had tremendous pressure in the back of my head, pressure in my ears, neck pressure and pain. I've seen a ENT, had my 3rd sinus surgery. Which before, I also had pressure in my forehead which has now improved, been miserable for months. 24/7 I have pressure that never goes away, last month I finally stopped working because the pressure has become so severe with dizziness and vertigo, I can no longer function at work. The last 9 months, I was scared I was going to injure myself or another.My accidents could kill on top of releasimg hazardous Material. I'm waiting to see Neurologist. Which I have a feeling, I will have an MRI, Only medication that seems to help, which doesn't really help with the pressure, but settles me down is ativan, does help with some dizziness. I've tried assortment of pain medications, NSAIDS, Decongestants, antihistamines, been put on antibiotics, and steroids over and over again....very irratated, but also very scared. Only 33, this is probably the first time in my life where I feel totally disabled. Seems like family doesn't understand, gives me the you still got to work bull. I really wish I could punch them in the back of the head and cause them the pressure and vertigo, and dizziness. Tell them to go function when walking across the room seems difficult. Also, just the fear of not knowing what is wrong. Usually work 70 hour weeks, now it feels like it's hard to get up and move around for less then 30 minutes. Feel so sleepy and tired most the time. This really sucks, but if I have any suggestions or find out anything that may help, I'll let you know. The odd part, is before all this started, I had horrible allergies, everyday nose was stuffed up, mucus that never ended, etc, etc etc, now, I feel like I have absolutely no allegies, and my nose is as clear as when I was younger. That doesn't make since to me since I have been suffering from that problem for over 8 years, now it's like it never happen, but also, I never had allegies when I was in my 20s, and all off sudden I had the worst allegies ever.....Confusing to me. I'll take the plugged nose, tons of snot back if the pressure would just go away. I could hand the pressure in my face, and forhead, this pressure is a totally different deal. Feel like my head is going to explode.

I am so glad this forum was created because I struggled with head pressure, memory loss, and headaches for 3 years. I found this thread a year ago and read every reply and lost all hope that I would ever be normal again, but atleast I knew I wasn't alone and that gave me a certain peace of mind. Through the years I had become a zombie just having a normal conversation became so hard that I wanted to die. I ended up losing my wife over it because she just couldn't handle being married to a rock anymore. I wouldn't wish the head pressure on anyone but I told myself if by a miracle I ever overcame it I would write to help others. Well here I am today 3 months cured and your not going to believe what did it. I started taking vitamins once a day. I started the day with a men's one a day , 2 omega 3 fish oil capsule, 1 magnesium/ calcium pill, and 2 Ginko Biloba pills and after only 2 days symptoms started to disappear. I'm happy to say my wife and I just got back together and she's pregnant with our second child. I wish everyone on here the best of luck of luck and know that if I can beat it anyone can. Your not alone.

Okay same here's what started mine.ive Never had any headache issues my entire life , I do have neck issues which I get regular massages and acupuncture for but it never caused headaches it was mostly just tension in my neck and shoulders. 2 weeks ago I threw my head back to look up at the sky and had an explosion in my head, my husband took me immediately to emergency room I got a shot of Dilaudid and sent home.had subsequent headaches on and off. But now two weeks later all I have is pressure. intense pressure, CT scan is normal, have MRI and MRA scheduled Thursday, please tell me someone has a answer

Intracranial hypertension is a possibility. You would need a lumbar puncture to measure the pressure of your CSF.

Been suffering a lot of the same syptoms, just got some blood work back yesterday, and I seem to have a B12 def. Also my red blood cells count and test on red blood cells are all over the place, so going to see if I get my B12 up to a normal levels, and see if that helps. So far the cat scans have shown nothing, and waiting for MRI. BeING vitiman B12 def can cause a lot of different problems. Normal levels range from 300 to 900, with 500 being median, my levels recorded at 150. My red blood cells were not horrble, but something is obviously making them abnormal. Have you check B12 levels?
