Instead of thinking it's the worst case scenario, have you tried medications for migraines, tension headaches or cluster headaches. Even though you are feeling pressure in your head, don't rule out that it has something to do with you head. Many different diseases may cause symptoms like that. Be certain to check all types of blood work. Simple inexpensive test. Lower b-12 levels or magnesium levels could cause problems. Allergies, can cause major problems, autoimmune, high or low blood pressure, just keep trying everything and checking everythin working with your doctor's.

I have had low b12 and vitamin d levels over the years. I try not to think the worse but sometimes it takes over your life and it's hard to not think about it when you feel it all the time. Unfortunately when you complain to the doctor they look at you like your crazy and don't know where to start. They also have a tendency to just brush it off as anxiety or your just a hypochondriac which I am not. I don't really have bad headaches so I don't want to take something unless I have to. I hope everything works out for you.

I have low b12 and vitamin D levels too, I swear I'm treated the same. I'm told it's anxiety. The pressure I feel is not causing pain. It causes more fatigue, dizziness, pressure, neck stiffness, pressure in my ears, etc. Have you had any test for Ige levels. Do you have bad allergies? I can totally understand how it feels to be brushed off by doctors. It's very irritating, but keep pushing them. Not all migraines cause pain. I also feel the same to, most the medications I HAVE tried don't help, nor do I want to take a bunch of crap.

No I don't believe they checked my lge levels. I've wondered about the allergies but never really had that problem in the past. My ear nose and throat doctor wanted to do an allergy test but said he couldn't because I'm on toprol the beta blocker and I would have to stop it for a week and didn't think that was a good idea. So I don't know how I could get tested. I'm also on hydrochloride for blood pressure and worried that was causing it but I believe I was having this problem before I started the medicene. I'm glad you understand about the doctors brushing you off. It's really annoying. My neck even bothers me on the sides below my ears more on the left and I often feel like it's sweeping or tight. You really can't tell the doctor everything going on with your symptoms because the more you tell the more they think your crazy. But if you don't tell them how can they start to fix it. Symptoms are important. Well I hope you get some answers soon. I feel for you all.

I know I have had elevated Ige levels for years, wow! I feel like your talking about the. Ige test usually present that you have allergies or worms, from what I've read. I don't have worms...lol, look into the allergies. I don't feel like I have allergies either, but from all the test I have had. I have major allergies. I've done skin test also, pretty much I seem to be allergic to everything...lol, also, do some research and look into your family history. Our genes play an important factor.

I have not said it, but I have been able to get rid of the most of pressure using migraine medications, and a non steroid nasal spray. I'm not 100%, but I have been able to return to work. I've also been taken different supplements for b12 and vitamin D. Month ago, just making it through the day at home unbearable.

      Dianne,

Did you figure out what the underlying problem was? I have been experiencing the same problems for over 3 years now and it is ruining my life 😑

You should investigate histamine intolerance. I read somewhere it blocks your body's ability to absorb B12. And anxiety is related to histamine intolerance.

For example, few years ago, I had lower and upper GI'S , because I was having serve problems with my intestines. It really wasn't pleasant. End results, with a little family history, I found out that my father was lactose intolerant. Over night, I went from enjoying pleasures of dairy to being unable to have any. I went through all kinds of expensive test to only find out I had inflammation with no reason why. Stopping dairy for a week, then drinking a glass of milk, was the only test I actually needed. Doesn't that suck.

After taken medications for those sicknesses and they went away I started to have stomach problems , head problems head and nose pressure I get dizzy when ever I get out of bed just a lot symptoms I've been depressed because I never knew what was going wrong with me I've been to a neurologist, ent , endocrinologist due to that I was told I had hyperthyroidism but after doing some tests I was misdiagnosed. I recommended you guys research on this especially if you are having more problems other then head pressure
