I've had mine for at least five years. Probably because I have daily heart pounding so I can't take Sudafed (decongestant) or antihistamines anymore. (They both can make heart palps worse, and mine are bad enough as it is.)

Hi Lee, I was put on an antidepressant (Zoloft) for a few years, and it didn't work because those can actually make anxiety worse. I would be at work, and would feel very shaky inside. Eventually, even though I was on a low dose, my hands shook visibly. The doctor said I had to taper off and not take it anymore. If you ever feel kind of shaky, or your hands shake, you might ask your doctor about lowering or splitting the dose. I was just too sensitive to it, so I had to get off those.

Hello Alan, my first post, I felt compelled to reply as I have constant pressure headache made worse by coughing and bending with whooshing sounds and pain behind eyes.My optician has similar and suggested Blepharitis, but no cure, just eye drops and painkillers TOTALLY inadequate I know, sorry.
I know there are an awful lot of people with this and I'm afraid it remains a mystery. We have to hope that it will go away one day, Good luck, Glenis

I feel sick and I am freezing cold when this happens.
This is life disrupting. I want to sleep and sometimes just fall asleep sitting up.
i want to know what this is!

I am in the same boat! The symptoms started about 3 years ago with mild tension in my neck behind the ears. Over the years, it has gotten progressively worse. I wake up feeling exhausted every single day. I have constant tension in my neck behind both ears. The pain radiates to the front ofy head and ultimately puts pressure on my eyes. I blink and skint often, but have perfect vision
I've seen my family doctor, an ENT doctor, neurologist, sports doctor, pain management amd chiropractor. Had several tests performed; including xrays, MRIs and blood work. I did find oit that I have a straight cervical spine and some mild disc degeneration, but was told that this isn't enough to cause such severe symptoms. I've also gone down the anxiety path, but believe that the symptoms are causing anxiety - not the other way around.
Most recently, my doctor recommended an oral steroid. I took the first dose today, so we'll see how it goes. An orthopedic doctor recommended steroid injections, but I've had them before and not willing to spend a great deal of money on a "possible" remedy that might have to be repeated annually.
Last thing: I used to be an extremely healthy person. Went to the gym several times a week. It seems like amy physical activity only makes the symptoms worse. Anyone else have this issue?
Appreciate the feedback!
