i have been getting pressure in head for months and it is daily and constant now. I have tried allsorts! Chiropractor, eye tests, dentist, medication.........I have just had MRI and don't think it'll show anything serious up!!!
Please can anyone help......don't think it's anxiety or stress, not sinusitis......god knows but it's getting me down and i am desperate!

Hi, i dont exactly have an answer but i went to a psyquiatric consultation and the doc prescribed me venlaflaxine and carbamazepine, both for my mental state (anxiety and depression caused by living for 3 years with the same pressure, not the other way around) and for the head pressure, if you look up both are used for treating NEURAL pain, aswell as other mental states such as the ones i mentioned before,. So i belive that the reason many of us dont find any relief with over the counter analgesics its because the pressure its due to nerve pressure. But the cause to me it is unknown to this day, it could be something like a csf leak or high volume of it, a pressed nerve in the neck/column, etc. But meanwhile i find the cause i must say that this treatment has helped me relief the pressure feeling almost entirely, and as consecuence helped me greatly with my mental health.
I think this is something worth looking up, and perhaps talk it with your doctor. I hope someone find this helpful. Feel free to ask anything if you like.

I have been in hell two years ago ,no one could help me . Same as most of you here doctors were saying that either nothing is wrong with me or that I suffer from mental illness.
I tried everything on face of the earth from best modern medicine to shamanism (yes I was desperate)
Solution came when I decided to accept it , when I embraced religion and started to pray ( I know it may sound weird) and when I stared physical activity like maniac .
I stared kick boxing 5 times a week and running on weekend ....I lost 20 kg and transformed my body,pressure is here still but decreased by 70-80 percent and I am not only functional but in awesome condition and certain that once I will overcome it totally . Meanwhile I found many on line stories that people managed to fee themselves from the horror of head pressure.
Have faith and dont give up!

Perhaps I should add that cure is no easy and doctors will pills will not be able to help so follow my way and live healthy as much as possible with lots of sports and eventually when you changed your body your mind will change too.

I bet you are female and were overweight. You probably had intracranial hypertension and for some its weight related and by losing weight helps. Look it up and stay healthy.

how can i get the lumbar puncture? i called my neurologist and he was saying the MRI WOULD sHOw that and i dont have a valid reason for him to schedule a lumbar puncture. i was wondering whatvsteps you took to get this.

First of all, your neurologist is wrong. Rarely are signs shown on MRIs. It took me 3 neurologists to take me seriously and order a lumbar puncture. Get a second opinion. Look up the Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. Look st the symptoms and then how its diagnosed.

is this a serious deadly medical condition? ive had this fro 3 years im scared im going to die! its been going on so long im so frightened. i have a apt a month from now dont know if thats too long of a wait?

hmmmmm, its not taking me to a facebook page . i dont see any facebook reference ? the word migrane and dizziness turn blue but no facebook site. 😭
also would like a update on how you feel whether they put you on meds or do surgery if thats ok. I WISH yoU lUck man

hi everyone
iv'e been dealing with a lot of head pressure lately
mainly focused on my right side of the head its just extreme pressure throbbing pain.
sometimes it travels to my left side and sometimes to the back of my head.
i also experience this pulsing on my nerves that feel like they are going to burst.
i have this terrible fullness in my ears like they are always clogged
if anyone can help me with this i feel terrible all thee time my anxiety is really starting to take its toll

i had similar symptoms and i saw a chirpractor for a back alignment! it helped a great deal. it was pinched nerves that were giving me massive headaches. i also use mineral or olive oil drops in my ears and it helps with the pressure
