I tried the pumpkin seeds and eaten garlic every day for months...I've also gone up to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases In London to see a specialist for the last 8 months....All their treatment has not worked either. It always comes back! My husband or my two children have never had it and we dont have any pets....I keep a very clean house and im so careful with my hygiene...What can i do to get rid of these? Help Please.....Its driving me insane!

I cured my pinworms! I think you must use a dual approach: (1) Kill the adults in the gut and (2) Remove the eggs on the outside (by anus), otherwise they hatch and crawl back in, with new adults now inside.

    (1) Kill the adults, take meds 1x per week for 3 weeks. The meds work briefly-move thru our intestines (once you take the med), then out of the body, killing part of the adults but not all at one time. Think about how the medication works-you take it one time and it passes thru our body-it is not lingering in there. It isn’t going to kill all the adults the first time, which is why you take it over 3 weeks. Maybe MSM too, daily to make it a nasty environment to live in.

    (2) Remove eggs daily, otherwise they hatch and immediately move back inside us which is why I think they are so hard to get rid of. The meds have passed thru the body yet new ones just crawled back in. You have to do both. Use a paper towel with Hydrogen Peroxide to wipe 1st thing in the a.m. (before using toilet) and then a few times per day. Wipe very well and dig in there to remove the eggs completely: the H3O helps kill them and the paper towel is abrasive to get into the folds of the skin.

When I first got worms and started, I could see worms and eggs on the paper towel (even though they say they are microscopic!). I saw worms and eggs the first day but saw only eggs for a few days before they went away completely.

This is what I did for 3 weeks. I’ve been free of this problem for months now.

    Other notes:

Some people have suggested putting vaseline by anus. I think this is the wrong approach. You want the eggs to be laid by the anus so that you can remove them daily. Otherwise the female might migrate to other parts of body to lay eggs (mouth, nose). Or she lays them in the vaseline and you can’t wipe it off well.

Wear 2 sets of underwear so the eggs are not expelled on the sheets and you can’t scratch while sleeping and get under your finger nails.

Practice good hygiene so that you do not get re-infested from eggs in the house or yard. My doctor told me that I probably got them from the soil and I garden daily. So I wash my hands very well after gardening.

Spray crotch of undies with Lysol before putting in hamper, scrub nails after gardening, put peroxide in washer, etc.

I take baths and use Hydrogen Peroxide in the bath. Also use it in the washing machine.

I have read that itching by the anus can sometimes mean a Candida infection. I think the way to determine that is if you wipe well by Hydrogen Peroxide and know there are no eggs but you continue to itch, then maybe there is something else going on?

    Hope this helps!

I'm pleased this approach worked for Julie however putting hydrogen peroxide directly onto healthy skin on a regular basis is NOT recommended and could very easily cause significant and painful skin damage. Especially as the skin around the anal area is relatively thin. I would suggest that people do not follow this advice.

Yes, each person should determine whether it is causing them damage. I don't find H3O particuarily harsh. Maybe use alcohol? In either event, that wouldn't seem wise to to do for a long period of time.

In the short term, however, it seemed necessary to me to: (i) kill the eggs immediately upon contact and (ii) remove the glue-like substance that the worms use to attach the eggs to the skin.

If people have issues, then soap and water on a paper towel or wash cloth.

Something along those lines immediately upon rising.

HI, Sadly im still suffering! Tried all kinds of things but ive come to the conclusion that its not curable for me....For some reason some of us must have a weakness and it must make us more 'attractive' to these worms. After having them for so many years theres no way down to the cleaning or my general hygiene. How are you getting on?

      Hi

Have had ongoing  problems on and off for few years, either repeat infections or I never properly getting rid of them. Am now trying to take different approach and work on my gut health with high strength pre and probiotics etc. Hope to build better resistance as obviously some people seem more able to avoid or overcome infection than others. Am waiting results of stool sample to see if still I have them and will update if they are gone! In meantime I saw an ad today for a free online parasite summit (starting today for a week) with lots of different speakers. Have no idea whether it is any good, if they are trying to sell books or 'cures' (personally very wary of those) so am not recommending it, just passing on info case anyone wants to check it out?

    Hi Anna,

I read all of your posts on this thread and elsewhere. Did you find a way of getting rid of these pinworms? I have not been having them for as long as you but I seem to not be able to get rid of them. This is really bringing me down and I feel constantly anxious about infecting someone else. sad

Not sure where my replies go. Moderator? Sick for over 3 months now with these. Researched Turpentine, caster oil and activated charcoal on youtube. Dr. Jennifer Daniels. All food grade or as close as you can get from amazon. Waiting on activated charcoal and I'll start tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

I use Diatomaceous earth about a table spoon a day in water (or coffee) and after 3 months I feel it slowed things down. Also, mix vaseline and diatomaceous earth to form paste and put it on, in and around your bum hole. Seriously helps with itching. Buggers dont like it. Especially at night.

      Hi

Sorry, dont have any suggestions on how to help but I would be extremely cautious about using turpentine due to its toxicity. Read it can cause acute lung inflammation and renal failure so would definitely research it thoroughly. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Hi, OK, it's been over 3 months. Infectious disease Dr. that I waited over 30 days to see humiliated me. I'm not going back. So, I've been researching caster oil, turpentine and activated charcoal. (all natural, be careful to only purchase organic and food grade. found all on amazon) you tube Dr. Jennifer Daniels for some of it. I've been taking 1 tsp caster oil in a mug of hot water everyday for about a week to just get my gut moving. I'll try 1/8th tsp of caster oil and 1/8th tsp of turpentine tomorrow. 1-6 tablespoons activated charcoal in 8 oz water depending on how I feel 1-2 hours after . Supposedly you can go to work because the charcoal absorbs the die off and you don't feel terrible. I'm not sure about the elimination part though.  I'll let whomever is reading these how I'm doing in a few days.

I know you said you have tried everything but have you tried woodworm, clover, and black walnut from organic nutrition and the detox 1 & 2 kit. I'm thinking of trying it to get rid of mind
