That happened to me also 2 months ago in an airport. I thought for sure I was passing out. Horrible! I have had it before but this was the worst, and before that I had nothing for 3 months. I am So sorry that happened to you. I did not want to go anywhere by myself and lost confidence again. Before this I was back to my normal self. 😕Please know your not alone and for whatever reason it happens. I guess because the hormones drop suddenly. I always bring ice cold water bottle and that makes me feel better..because if it happens I hurry and drink cold water. Sounds weird but it makes me feel like I have more control. Hugs to you....

Hang in there. I cried last night because someone on this forum described me, even as accurate as the month it started, the lovely break without symptoms and the recurrences, but we are here for each other. We are all we have because no one else understands us... Not even the doctors! Let's take our vitamins, exercise if you can (walk), pray and trust that God will see us through. That's all I know to do. Hugs to all of you!

This is exactly what I'm going through! I've had it fir about a year now and it isn't getting better. It's really affecting my life to where I am bedridden. Are you still suffering with it?

  • Edited

Hey, Please hold on. I don't want to brag to fast but mines has gotten a little better today. You are totally right! The head symptoms are soooooooo depressing and a serious issue. For the past 2 days, my appetite has tried to come back. My legs are still weak and the brain fog is still present but we have to Kick this Menopause BS in the head!! I just left my doctors office this am and she's really good but I'm back to diagnosing myself. I took my vitamins ( Fish Oil, Magnesium, Vitamin D and Probiotic ) and BP medication with me and she said I was on the right track BUT my body says a ;little different. I did slack up on my vitamins and I can tell. The symptoms came back like..... Knock! Knock! I'm back 😦 This is a real struggle. I'm so sorry. Please hang in there. We are here for each other.

thanks im taking it one day at a time and holding onto faith, my husband went to a birthday gathering im home in bed its literally stolen my life from me. im scared to go places and socialize and go to gatherings as i feel more comfortable in my home dealing with this. its so unfair what we have to go through i never in all my life would have imagined perimenopause being this bad and horrible. i never thought it could cause all this things and how bad they can get.

Yes I understand. From November to late January I felt the same . I was coming home getting in the bed and I did not want to socialize with anyone. I didn’t want to do anything and then it went away. Once I started the vitamins and started feeling myself again but then it came back three months later so I totally understand you. So unfair. 😦 LET's keep praying and keep the faith. Maybe you should try taking some fish Oil and magnesium . Get your vitamin D Level checked too. That was so low for me but once I got those levels up I could tell a difference. I'm still pushing tho everyday to be myself again. I HATE MENOPAUSE!!

i have had almost everything i can think of checked my vitamin D is low normal dr said nothing about it my progesterone was 0.7 which i think is low compared to the estrogen. but she says all normal i need a second opinion from someone who will listen to me but yes we will keep praying and keep faith

Hi Crystal, this is exactly me. I also feel when I forget to take certain vitamins symptoms are worse. Also through my vast reading on menopause nervous system and brain plays a crucial roll as the pituitary gland in the brain controls hormonal balance. Therefore we get lots of symptoms related to the head. That is why the B vitamins and essential fatty acids such as fish oil, flaxseed oil, evening primrose oil and Black seed oil are so essential to help balance hormones. Magnesium is so crucial as it helps to relax the body. The one lesson that I have learnt during this process is NOT TO PANIC. It make symptoms worse. I try and keep calm, and PRAY FOR THE SYMPTOMS TO PASS. I live by faith in ALMIGHTY GOD. WE HAVE TO REMAIN POSITIVE AND OUR HEALING WILL WILL COME. LOVE TO ALL.

THANK YOU for this comment. YOU are right! The vitamins really help. I've never had the primrose oil. How do you take it? I eat flaxseeds but never had the oil. I'm going to try that too. Again, THANK YOU ALL!! I'm a FAITH believer as well. I trust and pray daily for GOD to see us through.

Hi Crystal, Evening Primrose oil is available in capsule form at Pharmacies and Health stores. Its excellent for hormonal balance during menopause. Follow the instructions on the leaflet when taking. You can research evening primrose oil on the internet and read on the vast benefits. GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU.

Sorry forgot to mention, Flaxseed is also available in capsule and bottled oil. The oil is normally refrigerated so it does not spoil. This is also available at health store. THANK YOU.
