Sore/blisters around vagina - HELP *picture*

I have painful blister-like sores around my vagina on a couple on my vaginal lips and I'm wondering a. how I can ease the pain/get rid of them and b. what they are.

Just to give a background on the last few weeks: I got a particularly back strain of tonsillitis a few weeks ago and was put on very strong antibiotics to clear it. After this I had a slight itch and touch of thrush which cleared up after taking a dose of pro-biotics. A week after the itch I shaved all my pubic hair, I stupidly didn't trim the hair before I did that. I had sex with my boyfriend after this, he's the only person I've been having sex with for 6 months and vice versa. I have experienced pain after having sex with him and some skin tears due to his and my size (he's quite large and I'm apparently smaller than average). I then got my period this week and started to feel irritation which was mild at first like usual grow-back irritation after shaving and then it progressed to quite irritant and painful - I'm assuming the pads I was using didn't help matters. To ease the irritation I was using an antiseptic cream which would typically be used for nappy rash.

When my period was done I examined myself and felt small bumps, first they were under the skin and are now over the skin and blister-like and some have popped and seeped. My vaginal lips are quite dry and there are a couple of pimple-like bumps on them which are quite painful. I soaked in a warm bath last night with a couple of drops of tea-tree oil, some baking soda and some E45 dermatological emollient bath oil and this seemed to help. When I woke up this morning the pain had eased slightly but the sores which had popped were crusted over with a yellow pus. I cleared this and the pus has not returned, but they are still painful. The pain seems to mostly be coming from the hairs that are growing back in the area irritating the sores. I have been using E45 dermatological (and alternately Salvon antiseptic) cream to ease the itching and give me some relief.

Basically, I'm looking for suggestions on how to ease this pain and clear the sores up. If anyone has had a similar issue and knows exactly what this is help would be greatly appreciated. From examining myself and researching STIs/STDs online it does not resemble anything I've seen but if anyone has a suggestion they are more than welcome!

Hi my name is shannon I'm quite kinda experiencing the same thing you went through but my vagina isn't that bad. I went to the Obgyn and he said it looks like herpes he took a swab test so I'm waiting on the results of it. I have a normal doctor appointment tomorrow to see what she will say, and next week I have another appointment with another Obgyn and see what she says about it. I'm scared the doctor gave me pills to take 2 times a day for 5 days and a cream to put on but I honestly think I'm having an allergic reaction to the cream. My sister had something similar and I told her about the cream and she said stop using it till I go to the doctors. I don't know what to do I am confused.

Hey, I too have a question. I'll just run the story down to you guys. Ok, so I have been back and forth to different doctors. Getting tons of different answers. It started as an really bad itch went to the doctor and was barely looked at nor was I tested this first time. The doctor literally just looked at my vagina said oh it's just an yeast infection gave me two yeast infection pills just brush me off. I went home took one. The itch did not go away so I waited maybe 2 or 3 days then took another one. Still no difference. So I waited maybe a week went back she did the same thing just threw me some more pills that did not work. So I said ok forget it. Maybe a month passed by it went away but came right back. This time it was so much worst than the first. So I checked into the hospital sat there 6 hrs waiting to only be told they can't really test me for std's (which they could have told me the moment I was trying to check in) anyways they tested me for whatever they could and came back saying they found white blood cells in the swab or pee I forgot which one. And gave me papers saying I had Bacterial vaginosis, they didn't specify which one exactly that I had and gave me my prescription for the medicine I needed for it. They also gave me a paper with names of clinics I can go to, to actually get tested. So I went got my prescription and began to take them, with each day that went by I wondering when will the itching go away until weeks later but came right back. So I looked at the paper and picked out a doctor to go to. Went there got tested and finally I thought I was getting somewhere when I was diagnosed with chlamydia. Ok so I went got the medication took it still no relief because the itch didn't go away. So I went back to get tested again results came up negative but I'm still itching. This whole time I wasn't having sex with anyone. I've been to maybe two more doctors results come up negative both times. But I'm still itching and now I've noticed what looks like ruptured blisters down there. I'm kind of just hoping someone else can help me bcs the doctors clearly don't care and are absolutely no help for me

Hey I believe you have herpes simplex virus 2 along with (trich). Do your research and see if your symptoms are like those. Your best bet is to go to an OBGYN so they can test you and do a PAP

I've been tested for herpes. The swab and blood test. But it was exactly 3 months after I last had sex and was told the results were negative. Do you think maybe the results were wrong and I was tested to early ?

Can anyone help me! I have greenish bumps on my vagina lips, with flash it looks dark green and without flash it looks light green, The bumps and the lips are not swollen and does not hurt or itch or anything. My urine and discharge are normal and there is no pus. I never had sexual intercourse, so what are the bumps? Is it something to worry about or will they go away?

Hi, can someone please help me. I am a sexually active 20 year old. I've only had three sexual partners my whole life, and while having sex with them I always used protection. I received oral sex one time in my life, but that was three years ago and it didn't seem to affect me in any negative way. However, I decided to go on the Depo shot Sept 2015. Everything was fine in September, but during October and the past few months I've been experiencing a lot of irritation symptoms. I've had thick vaginal cottage Chesse discharge, my vagina feels irritated, somewhat irritated when I pee at times, burning, and every know and then I get a single painless pimple that does not sore, but has white pus everytime I pop them. After I pop them they're not irritated, neither do they blister. They just go back to my skin looking flesh colored.

Hello Lanay, have you got a word on if it's herpes or not?

Hello all, I'm kinda I'm the same boat.. I cannot tell if I have herpes or not.

I here recently had sexual intercourse with someone new, shortly a few days after I started to feel really itchy, and I scratched it thinking nothing of it.. then a few days down the road I started to feel a burn.. like it felt really irritated and itchy so I got a mirror, and began to examine the areas.. I had noticed there are two things on my vag lips.. I had thought maybe it was ingrown hairs, but then I kept thinking and thought "ingrown hairs wouldn't look like this".. I had also had flu like symptoms, for about a week or more.. I had thought it was just the body flu, but I'm unsure.. someone please help?

Hi there, that looks like it could definitely be herpes or maybe even genital warts and you should book an appointment at the sexual healthy clinic asap so you can get it examined and get some medication.

I've been recently having shaving problems and was diagnosed with follicitus. I used 1% hydrocortisone cram and it helped make the little red/pink bumps go away. I recently shaved again and gave myself razor burn (I think) I haven't had sex lately and I am on depo provera which has bad side affects and make you get a lot of acne. I have been experiencing burning and itchiness after shaving no sores are present this has been going on all month. I'm just a little concerned, does this sound normal?

I was on depo for 13 years, and the only 2 bad side affects I got from that was I was always dry, and I lost bone calcium, so I hope your taking calcium vitamins daily. Are you using a scented shaving cream? If you are it might be irritating it. Go to any pleasure store and get a creamed cuchi cream, it helps wonders for shaving down there. But if it keeps up id go to obgyn, have it checked. Amd I went and had mine checked, and I put hydrocortizone cream as well, the next day it was gone.

I am currently not on calcium pills, but on vitamin D pills because I had a vitamin D deficiency. I've never had shaving problems before but I am now, and yes I used scented EOS vanilla bliss shaving cream when I shaved. I realized I didn't trim the hair before shaving and that's probably what caused the irritation. Bumps are slightly going away with hydrocortisone, I'll just keep using it until they're gone.
