Sore/blisters around vagina - HELP *picture*

I have painful blister-like sores around my vagina on a couple on my vaginal lips and I'm wondering a. how I can ease the pain/get rid of them and b. what they are.
Just to give a background on the last few weeks: I got a particularly back strain of tonsillitis a few weeks ago and was put on very strong antibiotics to clear it. After this I had a slight itch and touch of thrush which cleared up after taking a dose of pro-biotics. A week after the itch I shaved all my pubic hair, I stupidly didn't trim the hair before I did that. I had sex with my boyfriend after this, he's the only person I've been having sex with for 6 months and vice versa. I have experienced pain after having sex with him and some skin tears due to his and my size (he's quite large and I'm apparently smaller than average). I then got my period this week and started to feel irritation which was mild at first like usual grow-back irritation after shaving and then it progressed to quite irritant and painful - I'm assuming the pads I was using didn't help matters. To ease the irritation I was using an antiseptic cream which would typically be used for nappy rash.
When my period was done I examined myself and felt small bumps, first they were under the skin and are now over the skin and blister-like and some have popped and seeped. My vaginal lips are quite dry and there are a couple of pimple-like bumps on them which are quite painful. I soaked in a warm bath last night with a couple of drops of tea-tree oil, some baking soda and some E45 dermatological emollient bath oil and this seemed to help. When I woke up this morning the pain had eased slightly but the sores which had popped were crusted over with a yellow pus. I cleared this and the pus has not returned, but they are still painful. The pain seems to mostly be coming from the hairs that are growing back in the area irritating the sores. I have been using E45 dermatological (and alternately Salvon antiseptic) cream to ease the itching and give me some relief.
Basically, I'm looking for suggestions on how to ease this pain and clear the sores up. If anyone has had a similar issue and knows exactly what this is help would be greatly appreciated. From examining myself and researching STIs/STDs online it does not resemble anything I've seen but if anyone has a suggestion they are more than welcome!

I had sex with this guy and a few days later I started experiencing burning sensation when I pee. After that I noticed a whitish mixed with red discharge happening. About 4 days later I noticed there were blisters in my vagina area. Is this herpes? I should also mention that before I had sex with I was experiencing burning while peeing. I'm really lost and scared, can someone help me ?

I really like your post...it is detailed and helpful. Although I haven't yet been to the gyn, I am pretty sure I have herpes too. The blistered sore I have been getting reoccurs only on the right side of private parts. I am really scared and embarrassed to go see the doctor! My symptoms have all the tell-tell signs unfortunately. I have been feeling so alone, scared, stressed, angry, etc but after reading your post and everyones....I kinda feel better..... I am even considering going to see a gyn tomorrow but now the most nerve wrecking thing is having to tell my boyfriend....
whay if I have infected him too? I am pretty sure I got this from my ex boyfriend because that was the only time I ever had unprotected sex.

I'm 23, have been with my partner since July 2014 and have HSV type 1. I had my first outbreak at the beginning of 2015, not that I knew then that if was herpes. My first OB was so bad that it caused me to blackout several times due to infection and fever. I thought I cut myself shaving at the time and then assumed it had got infected, I had 2 large pus covered ulcers on the right side of my inner labia. I went to the doctors, explained my shaving theory and she simply just gave me a dose of amoxicillin. A couple of weeks later I got a sore, that can only be described as 'similar to a carpet burn' on the very top of my leg, in the crease where your bum meets your leg. It's uncommon to get an outbreak here so I never initially put two and two together, to be perfectly honest, I hadn't a clue what it was but it was huge, painful and has unfortunately scared.
It wasn't until I found out I was pregnant and came out with another ob at 7 weeks that I actually went to a sexual health clinic to get it checked out. They did a swab and a week later they called and diagnosed me with HSV type 1. I don't think it really phased me at the time. The guy who rang me was super lovely. He explained that while HSV type 1 is classed as a sti and is transmitted through sexual activity. It's not actually an sti as such, as it is caused by receiving oral sex from someone with an active cold sore virus. He also reassured me that because I had already had my first ob prior to getting pregnant that my body would give my baby all the antibodies they needed. That was that as far as I was concerned at the time. I had a few more smaller outbreaks but I wasn't prepared to go and speak to anyone about it and i just dealt with them as best I could myself.
It wasn't until I was heavily pregnant that it actually really hit me. All the hormones and the extra bacteria going on down there caused me to have an outbreak, 3 weeks before my little one was due. Although my body had given my baby the antibodies he needed, having an open sore at the time of delivery could have still enabled the virus to be transferred to my baby and if I had open sores as my due date got closer I would have to consider the possibility of a c-section. And that's when I freaked out and had to come to the actual realisation that I did have this virus and that it was something that I was going to have to deal with forever but it wasn't something that I had to hide away from at the same time. I went to my doctor, discussed my newest ob with him and he gave me some anti viral tablets to try and budge the sores before baby was born. They cleared up within days and my healthy 8lb 12oz baby boy was born completely naturally and uneffected at 39 weeks.
He's now 4 and a half months old and I've currently got a single sore that I'm dealing with. It's not nice, it is painful and yes it makes you feel like damn right dog poop when you have an outbreak. But it's also not uncommon and you are most definitely not on your own. Herpes is still a pretty taboo subject as it is classified as an STI. However I strongly believe it should be discussed more, so that people have a better understanding of it. It is nothing to be ashamed off, type 1 can be caused completely by accident, it unfortunately is 'just one of them things'
Sorry for the mammoth post, I just wanted to share my experience and maybe help someone out.
