I am sure you are hoping that it's not dairy that bothers you but it looks pretty conclusive... This reaction to dairy may be temporary but stay off the dairy until your diarrhea is a thing of the past, then get probiotics that are dairy free.
In the meantime eat well; avoid fried foods like bhaji, spicy foods, and of course no raita! Eat foods that will be gentle to your irritated insides. You say you were fine up until the yoghurt. So just eat as you were eating minus the fatty and spicy foods....and dairy of course.
Bravo to you for identifying yoghurt with probiotics as the offender.

You need to take care of your body and what you feed it. Look at your dinner plate. It should be colourful; NOT beige! (bread, rice, fried meats, meat, noodles, cereal etc..) We all have bright red beets in a jar in our fridges. We can shred some pale green and purple cabbage (30 seconds) and put mayo and lemon juice on it to make very nutritious cole slaw. With a hard boiled egg, you have a meal. Washing green lettuce (not iceberg) and slicing a tomato and sprinkling chopped red pepper/capsicum over it can't take longer than 2 - 3 minutes. For those not used to eating vegetables, starting simple can be the starting point for a veritable vegetable odyssey! Today it's lettuce...tomorrow asparagus with mayo and lemon juice, spinach boiled in 1 minute in a bit of salt water, drained, butter and garlic powder added. Brussel sprouts with tops removed and boiled and adding the same dressing. Mmmm!
Can you eat brown rice instead of white which is far less constipating.
You may be suffering from true IBS where you get constipated (hard small stools not every morning instead of soft, long stools every morning only), then have terrible pain and diarrhea which is the body's way of forcing the stool through the colon and out of the body. If that is the case, you really need to focus on getting regular. No rice, no tea, no dairy, yes prunes, yes 10 servings of fruit and veggies, yes to water, water, water also with psyllium/Fybogel if you need more roughage.
Your body is giving you a message loud and clear. Listen to your body and treat it well. There is a whole world of lovely, jewel toned, fresh veggies out there that your bowels would love and thank you for.
Following a healthy diet, your condition will become a thing of the past and you will reap the benefits of a long and healthy life.

Are you able to exercise; a routine that you have to use all your muscles? Sitting still all day can get a person down. Exercise relieves stress and anxiety and raises serotonin levels which is the happy hormone. Can you join a swim program for the disabled? Do you belong to any social groups? Is there an association that can help you find work and that offers adapted transport? You really do need to have as full and normal a life as possible. And of course, good nutrtition is part of the pictures. If you keep away from dairy for the moment, until your digestive system settles down, then maybe in a week or two after you have a normal functioning system, you can reintroduce yoghurt a teaspoon at a time. Are you physically able to take over some of the cooking to relieve your mother and to learn to fend for yourself?...if you don't do it already. Learning new recipes is always fun...and at the end of the day, you feel like you have accomplished something important to the family. I know that Eastern Indian cooking is very labour intensive so working in the kitchen could be a new outlet for you and helpful to the family.
Keep doing your detective work...and you will get to the bottom of the issue...oops, excuse the pun.
