It may be the proboitics in the yoghurt, some people have that problem, just avoid it then and find other things to eat.

Well, that's good news, Yaseen!  You are a HUGE step closer to discovering what is causing the diarrhea.  I am pretty certain it's the yoghurt itself but best to wait to reintroduce the probiotics...but in soymilk or rice milk.

I am sure you are hoping that it's not dairy that bothers you but it looks pretty conclusive...  This reaction to dairy may be temporary but stay off the dairy until your diarrhea is a thing of the past, then get probiotics that are dairy free.

In the meantime eat well; avoid fried foods like bhaji, spicy foods, and of course no raita! Eat foods that will be gentle to your irritated insides. You say you were fine up until the yoghurt. So just eat as you were eating minus the fatty and spicy foods....and dairy of course.

Bravo to you for identifying yoghurt with probiotics as the offender.

Hello Robin right il tell you in full. Yesterday morning i woke up in morning and i was fine my stools were firm sorry to be like this but you know more than me health wise. I had porridige in morning i made it with water. Then at lunch i had a aple and a carrot. During that time i was fine i went to empty my bowel only once it was firm and normal. Then at night time i had white rice i was fine by then. After a few hours i had the yorgurt then in morning i had diarrhea that shows the last food that i had was yorgurt because why would rice give me diarrhea.

Probably the biotics in the yoghurt that bothered him not the milk/yoghurt itself, it does for lots of people.

Hi carmel thank you at the moment im going through alot i suffer from anxiety to so it is getting me down this.

Hi Yaseen. I can see that anxiety is most of your problem if not all of it. You need to address the anxiety, that is easier said than done I know. One thing is not to keep dwelling on this, not keep sitting on the computer all day talking about it or reading about it or thinkiing about it, try to do something totally unrelated to this. When I get anxious and worried (and believe me it gets me too, and I am alone with no one to turn to) I go out in the garden and plant seeds and grow things and I work hard to take my mind off of it and accomplish something. Today I hoovered the stair carpet and prepared special food for my little dog that is not well. These things need doing anyway don't they?

Porridge is fine for breakfast...but can you cut up an apple or add berries to it? How about an egg? Lunch was an apple and a carrot? You must have had more because apple and carrot, although nutritious, are a perfect lunch....for a rabbit! LOL You need some protein in there...nuts, seeds, egg, meat (not cold cuts which are carcinogenic), no dairy for now.

You need to take care of your body and what you feed it. Look at your dinner plate. It should be colourful; NOT beige! (bread, rice, fried meats, meat, noodles, cereal etc..) We all have bright red beets in a jar in our fridges. We can shred some pale green and purple cabbage (30 seconds) and put mayo and lemon juice on it to make very nutritious cole slaw. With a hard boiled egg, you have a meal. Washing green lettuce (not iceberg) and slicing a tomato and sprinkling chopped red pepper/capsicum over it can't take longer than 2 - 3  minutes.  For those not used to eating vegetables, starting simple can be the starting point for a veritable vegetable odyssey! Today it's lettuce...tomorrow asparagus with mayo and lemon juice, spinach boiled in 1 minute in a bit of salt water, drained, butter and garlic powder added. Brussel sprouts with tops removed and boiled and adding the same dressing. Mmmm!

Can you eat brown rice instead of white which is far less constipating.

You may be suffering from true IBS where you get constipated (hard small stools not every morning instead of soft, long stools every morning only), then have terrible pain and diarrhea which is the body's way of forcing the stool through the colon and out of the body. If that is the case, you really need to focus on getting regular. No rice, no tea, no dairy, yes prunes, yes 10 servings of fruit and veggies, yes to water, water, water also with psyllium/Fybogel if you need more roughage.

Your body is giving you a message loud and clear. Listen to your body and treat it well. There is a whole world of lovely, jewel toned, fresh veggies out there that your bowels would love and thank you for.

Following a healthy diet, your condition will become a thing of the past and you will reap the benefits of a long and healthy life.

Hello Yaseen, You suffer from anxiety? Can you see your doctor/a psychiatrist and get meds to help you through what may be just a rough patch? Are you able to work/study? Do you have support from friends? Do you engage in activities especially physical activity every day? That is a huge help for anxiety. Omega 3 in krill oil is very good for conditions affecting the mind. There is a strong brain/colon connection so take care of your colon and it will affect your brain and your anxiety level. Yes, you can take anti-anxiety medication but stack the cards in your favour and take care of your digestion and your lifestyle; exercise, get out, go to bed at a reasonable hour, keeping off the computer after dark, keep away from domineering or stress causing people, accomplish things in a day, commune with nature; if you are an adult and capable, live on your own (if you don't already). Take care of yourself, Yaseen! You are worth it!

Totally agree but I would add one thing. Instead of being glued to the computer or constantly thinking about it do something constructive like ringing a friend, baking a cake, going for a long walk, cleaning the front room or whatever.

Once you are sorted you can have biotics again. It is only temporarily.

I'm sorry to hear about your condition. All the more reason to get informed, visit a holistic naturopath, to create an excellent diet AND add supplements that will keep you in the best shape possible so that you can live a long and health and fullfilling life.

Are you able to exercise; a routine that you have to use all your muscles? Sitting still all day can get a person down. Exercise relieves stress and anxiety and raises serotonin levels which is the happy hormone. Can you join a swim program for the disabled? Do you belong to any social groups? Is there an association that can help you find work and that offers adapted transport? You really do need to have as full and normal a life as possible. And of course, good nutrtition is part of the pictures. If you keep away from dairy for the moment, until your digestive system settles down, then maybe in a week or two after you have a normal functioning system, you can reintroduce yoghurt a teaspoon at a time. Are you physically able to take over some of the cooking to relieve your mother and to learn to fend for yourself?...if you don't do it already. Learning new recipes is always fun...and at the end of the day, you feel like you have accomplished something important to the family.  I know that Eastern Indian cooking is very labour intensive so working in the kitchen could be a new outlet for you and helpful to the family.

Keep doing your detective work...and you will get to the bottom of the issue...oops, excuse the pun.

Try to add COLOUR to your diet; beets, red peppers/capsicum, fresh green beans, eggplant, spinach...Saag!...along with grilled chicken and naan. But avoid the butter chicken and raita etc.. Can your curry be mild?..and without a creamy (dairy!) sauce?
