Tip of the penis (meatus) is red and swollen like lips, what is the problem?

I am 29 years old, the tip of my penis (meatus) is red and swollen like lips (check the attached photos please), it has been like this since many years, sometimes the redness/swelling is little more other times is little less, I have never had sex before. There is no pain neither burning sensations, there is no blood when I urinate or ejaculate or even any type of strange discharges, everything feels just normal, it is a bit sensitive to touch yet, including the glans itself and sometimes it has an unpleasent smell.

I am uncircumcised and I cannot retract my foreskin all the way back, Lately I've started stretching the foreskin and I am seeing some results by exposing more of the glans. I haven't been cleaning underneath the foreskin before, just lately I've started washing it with water everyday. I have been masturbating since 10+ years almost everyday, and lately I have reduced it to around twice per week.

I would like to know if there is a problem with the tip of my penis opening being red and swollen? Do you think there is any serious problem with it? Is it normal that it smells unpleasant sometimes? any suggestions to reduce the swelling/redness and also reduce the sensitivity?

Sorry for the long description. Appreciate your kind advises and help.

    I'm having the same problem as you guys since 8 month

    - Red swollen irritated meatus

    It started when I rubbed sharply my penis against a pillow. I had a charp pain and than all my urethra was  irritated.

    I've seen an urologist that prescribed to me some antibiotics that healed my urertha, but not my meatus.

    Did already antifungal cream but it did nothing.

    Did already Acide hyaluronique in the case of lesions in my meatus but nothing

    I believe that it's a trauma, nerves was damaged and there's something blocking them to heal

      Is your meatus opening having a red lip kinda thing as well? What did the urologist say after seeing that? Was it normal or what was it?

    i have had the same problem for over almost 2 years but for the past 4-5 months i been taking ciprofloxacin 500mg for 2months i took 60 days 2 pill a day and then got another 42 more days of 2 pill a day and i must say it really has help alot dr tell me i have nothing im negative but got it after i had sex with a one night stand

      hi. how did you find the Cipro? ive been prescribed the same but have been putting it off as ive read about all the side effects.

    so please give a feedback if ya try that and everything gets better cuz i feel like doctors dont know what it is and they need to start looking into it more

    i have had the exact same problem for as long as i can remember (I'm 16 btw) and i have no idea what i am supposed to do. I dont know if i can go to a parent about this and im not sure if i can go see a doctor due to pandemic. I started to pull down my foreskin at the age of around 13 maybe 14 because i never realised that i actually could which sounds weird. I always just assumed something was wrong with me. However as i began to do it more and more i saw that the meatus looked swollen and sore. It is also hyper sensitive most of the time. My gland has always been sensitive anyway since i started pulling my foreskin down. I've been looking for years for an answer to my problem and i havent even found anything online about it until now so im relieved im not some sort of freak. Does anyone have any ideas on how i could get this sorted out (if i even can). It does not tend to cause any problems when masturbating-apart from the sensitivity- but also released an unpleasant smell if i dont wash it properly. I havent had sex or used a condom and so i dont know if it will affect my sex life. So ill ask again if anyone has any advice or help they could offer. It would be greatly appreciated

      Hey..Hunter60 Tell your parents and go see to doctor. Don't be shy .It could be problem in the future. if you doubt your problem is nerve damge, don't watch porn, dont masturbate for about 3 months. The more blood down there, the more problem it is. It could be nerve damage from rough masturbation.

    Please anyone! I need an update and some help. I have the same issues. Its been going on a year and 2 months. The tip is exposed and sends burning down my legs and feet. Excruciating pain. I've seen 5 different doctors (maybe even more) and they all said normal. My primary doctor., the ER doctor, a dermatologist, a urologist a neurologist, a Neurosurgeon. All test are negative.

    Do any of you guys have a low back problem like I have? My L5 S1 disks is 3mm herniated. My urologist, the last doctor I've seen said it looks normal and whatever burning or pins and needles I feel is related to my disk. Does that sound like it make sense? Anybody else have this issue?

    Also, I do drink a lot of Mountain Dew on weekdays. and I was bulking (exercising) months before this all occurred.

    Also, I have steriod shots in my leg and hip bone joints on my low backs mounths before this occurred...

    I looking for answers. Please help me!!!
