tiredness on antripline

Hi all could someone help, ive been on 10mg amitriptyline for 6 days for

depression i feel its working but when does the tiredness stop i slept from 11pm to 7am and still feel tired does anyone have any advise plz

      Started with back problems then it moved too my legs and feet which are now numb pins and needles my back dics are damaged have trouble with my fingers and hands which are numb all the time

      I see, bless you must be hard, kicking the wall wont help ouch, so this is why your on amitriptyline , are you able to walk arround hun?

      I can walk but not fair sitting in a chair my feet are numb all the time the only drug that works is amitriptyline at night before I was getting no sleep at all see specialists mri scans Physio hydro having a steroid injection for my hands on the 16th and seeing another specialist next month simple tasks with my hands are painful x

      Bless you must be hard, what dose are you taking at min? I was put on amitriptyline 10mg as i was on mirtzapine but not for me, good ur seeing a specialist hopefully they will ease this for you x

      Started on 30 mg now on 40 mg was on 8 50mg tramadol but that's was giving bad side effects down to 2-4 A day x

      The gp gave me the choice to up my dose, but im not so sure, i cant get my head arround the fact i take it at 8pm and im asleep by 11/12 at night , mirtzapine would knock me out by 20mins, the tiredness as gone yippee lol i asked the gp isnt there anything with out side effects he laughed and said that would be a wonder drug lol x
