Worms in the Face

Hi All,  I dont know if anyone has come across this.  I have a worm infestation in my face.  They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin.  they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease. 

I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face.  They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms. 

The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it.  All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of.  I am totally sane!

I am in pieces.  I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me.  Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.   

I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist.  He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see.  Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms.  I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit.  They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them.  It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin.  Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face. 

They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring.  I have never had acne and had no scaring.   This has all been caused in the last 3 months.  I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

    Guys, dont let anyone tell you you are mad.  I took this pic after i washed my face and put the cream on.  Look what come out.

      Hi Nicol - I came back from my weekly visit to the wound clinic yesterday very depressed. They are convinced I am healing and yet I have new lesions all over my neck and head. They just do not see the things that are coming out of my skin that are actually making cuts and lines going down my neck. The doctor is coding me as "neurotic excoriations". I have been an executive in the marketing and pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years and I am as sane as anyone. Look at the pictures I attached of the "things" I have coming out of my skin. I think every one of these doctors that claims it is all in our heads would do anything possible to get these things out of their skin and they would be called neurotic also!

      Hey Ruby, I was just saying the same thing, its waiting approval because I used the word F book but I wasnt linking anything or putting in a website address, just talking about a group on their, not ours..  Having this thing you know every lump and bump and what it is the second you touch it.  You would know before anyone if it was truely healing or not.  Such a shame you cant sue them for mental distress, the distress it causes is as bad as the wounds themselves.  I used to always be crying.  What do they say when you give them your samples? 

      I put in an official complaint to that hospital today and told them what i thought of the consultant and the treatment i received there and attached the pics.  It was disgraceful.

      So good to hear from you Nicole. To tell you honestly I do not show them my samples because I am afraid they will make me sound even more insane then they already are. I have been seeing specialists for 8 years and there have been plenty of times when you can see these things sticking out of the lesions and they just pretend they do not see them. I have tried so many times to explain this to them and many doctors have just smiled at me and said "oh come on now, you don't really think you have parasites do you!?" When I had my major scalp surgery because of this they took off the whole top of my scalp and supposedly did all kinds of pathological testing - not one thing came back positive except they did find enterobacter aerogenes. At that time (August 2011) I was removing giant worm-like things, but they couldn't find a single thing? It just does not make sense. It is as if they are afraid to even admit we have this. I attached a picture of the ones I removed right before my surgery.

      Hi Ruby, that looks excactly like images of demodex human mites... Google the images...  I know this is such a hard thing to go through.. My sis has a picking problem and has said that she tinks its a bug it all started when she caught scabies at work..  She is an RN.   I care about her so much so I joined this forum to try to help her.  So look up images of the above mentioned mites..    I hope you all find comfort soon.. -L.

      Hi Nicolamc, are those 2 photos under a microscope? It looks like Morgellons images...  One of my friends got obssessed with thinking about that..  Has anything protruded straight out of your skin bc the same person pointed his index finger up as a clear thread like thing just appeared to grow out.. He pulled it off with tweezers and it moved we burnt it up.. And its been 2 yrs he just lost his 10 yr old daughter and hasnt picked or mentioned anything since.. His skin looks great just some scarring.. Point is if there isnt a sore don't pick it..  Im not judging just giving advice on what Ive seen.. Now if the sore comes first then I'd suggest Colloidal Silver..   Hope you find peace.. Let me know.

      Hi Layne - I have tried colloidal silver for this many times and it has done nothing at all for me and is expensive so I really don't think it is something to even try.

      Wow Nicola I am so glad you complained about the consultant. A couple of years back I complained about the dermatologists at Dartmouth Hitchcock because they were so condesending and rude to me. They never even tried to help me but instead used me as a guinea pig for their grand rounds. It was totally pathetic! Right now my large lesion is getting smaller, but unfortuantely the smaller bumps, lesions, and tunnels are appearing all over my face, head, and neck. By the way, the moderator is not showing a message I sent in that has my microscope photos. I will try again in a different posting.

      Hey Rhuby,  Your photos look nothing like Morgellons..  I didn't suggest colloidal silver to you, I suggested it to Nicolamc (whose photos definitely look like morgellons)  I said that your photos look exactly like demodex human mites..  I wouldnt be on this forum if I didnt care about a few people who are experiencing similar issues.. So don't discredit things I mention that I know for a fact helped my friend.  It may be too expensive for YOU and thats fine.

      I guess I do not understand Layne why you got so huffy about my sharing my response to colloidal silver. I do not recall you saying that your friend was healed of Morgellons by using it. I also do not understand why you are convinced I have demodex mites. I have been fighting this affliction for over 8 years and have all of the signs and symptoms of "fibers" and lesions. I have gone through more biopsies, surgeries, and specialists than you can imagine. I have tried all kinds of things and sometimes they have been very harsh on my skin and have done nothing to help the healing process (colloidal silver was one of them). Therefore, I feel it is worth sharing those experiences with others. Sorry you took this so hard.

      I too have this horrendus malady.  I have been batteling it for 6 years.  I did have a reprieve while taking antiparasite medication and applying it to the area where these buggers were.  It stunned them or killed them enought to be able to extract then the area healed.  Sometimes there would be a couple in one spot, i am guessing due to replication from male/female.  I am a nurse and went through hell trying to get help but finally a doctor i worked with in an icu saw that there was something weird going on.  I am like the test bunny.  

      I also have late stage Lyme, was positive for Rocky Mountain Fever and never knew it and also EBV.  A mess.  But I have a good team keeping me going, working and actually in school to be a FNP so that maybe I can help others like us.

      This is exactly what I have! I was just searching as I got spiked by a plant yesterday so had to get a magnifying glass to pull out the spikes and that is when I noticed these things! I thought it was from the plant or dirt and I must hav gotten got worms, I also had those shards that I thought were from the plant... I noticed them under my nails too and under my feet... thanx for sharing, shame it isnt something simple though... add it to my list of issues...

      I know this is an old post/reply however, i have the exact same thing and exact same responses from my physicians. a relative of mine has it too and i hadn't been in contact with them since IT all started over a year ago. In my sinus and skin.

      Plz help when I typed in my symptoms Morgellions was something that came up as well as other causes I've been suffering for over a year now and all tests come back negative for parasites C Fungi and worms!!! But I know my body and I certainly would not do this to myself/// I know the cycles change and it is extremely distressing that all the evidence and pictures I have taken that nobody is taking it seriously!!! My body is being totally invaded and evidence doesn't lie!!! Can you help me in any way at all I will tell you everything if I get a reply as I know this an old post and maybe you are no longer on this page but I hope you are///

      Exact same thing with me... All this started after I moved into a new house which was drastically underpriced for the neighborhood it was in and I'm wondering maybe if the people that sold it had the same problem and priced it so cheap just to get rid of it without anyone really looking at it for too long
