Worms in the Face

Hi All,  I dont know if anyone has come across this.  I have a worm infestation in my face.  They travel around under the skin leaving tracks and bursting holes into my skin.  they create glass like balls that split the skin open and move around my skin with ease.

I first reported it 3 months ago and the doctors totally ignored me treating me for a secondary infection that was caused by open wounds in my face.  They have given me 4 courses of antibiotics treating the wrong infect but totally ignored waht I was telling ithem about the worms.

The worms whatever they are are very sharp and whereever they travel through in my face the skin collapses, leaving it like plastercine and it causes tiny splinters that are as sharp as anything that inbed themselves in the inside and outside of my skin right down to the lowest skin level. My skin is also producing a clear sticky substance which feels like little shards of glass if I touch it.  All in all, it really couldnt be much worse except for the fact they have made a hole around my mouth which they can look out of.  I am totally sane!

I am in pieces.  I've been telling the doctors what it is and they have totally ignored me.  Even refusing to refer after an A & E i visited confirmed I needed to be referred as the lesions had been on my face for so long.

I discovered I had private medical care through my company which now thank god means I've seen my first dermatologist.  He's referred me to another dermatlogist that apparently knows more about things in the skin who I'm yet to see.  Even though he's now put me in the right direction, I'm not convinced he was sure it is worms.  I can pull 1/2 inch worms out of my skin bit by bit.  They look like thread worms and never come out intact, you pull little bits off of them.  It leaves worm shape dents in my face and they feel like little match sticks under the skin.  Nobody is taking me seriously as people dont really get worms in the face.

They have totally destroyed me skin and I have bad scaring.  I have never had acne and had no scaring.   This has all been caused in the last 3 months.  I dread to think how many are alive in there now they'v been left so long.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

Hey Mj, glad you found us smile.  Wow 3 years is a long time.  When i started the thread I thought I'd either not get much of a response or called a wierdo lol.  Instead I've met some really good people all suffering the same kind of thing. There is some good advice going on in this group with our combined experiences. You'll find a few people here suffering with the exact same thing.  We just need somebody to acknowldge these parasites/worms/Morgellons and we'll all be fixed smile.  It does help a lot of have people to chat to about it.

I had the same problem. It seems that an awful lot of posts are being checked recently for no reason that I can see.

Good morning Nicola - I have had some deleted by the moderator also. The one word I think we should limit is "Morgellons". I think that is what has spurred their interest in us suddenly. Also, when emails and websites are included they do not seem to like it.  The only word I added to the one that was deleted that I can think of was "microsopic" so I wonder if that nakes them look. We shall see if this posting goes through!

No not oral, injectable for cattle or livestock. I think they deleted my earlier post

Wow, I did not realize they made an injectable. I will have to try this.  I did notice they have an Ivermax Pour-On For Cattle 5 Litre  - maybe that would do it ha-ha!  Of course I am only kidding...!!

Pour on does not work, I had already tried it. Apparently not strong enough for this.

I receive notice that you have responded regarding someting else apparently but can not find the post. Sorry

That happens to me a lot also.  It may have been this post: I do like coconut oil but have not tried the sweet oil. Walmart has it for an inexpensive price so I am going to try this. Thanks for the tips...by the way, if you have a lot of pain with the lesions try Bactine spray or Bandaid wash topically. They both have a lidocaine pain killer and antiseptive qualities. This has helped me when these things really hurt!

Thank you, I keep it on hand but have not had to use it in a long time. Yes this was the one I could not see. BTW I have even used oragel, stays on good.

Yes - the oragel works great. The Dollar Tree has an oral pain killer with high percentage of lidocaine for only a dollar.

I have a huge scab on my chin today and my skin had been so clear. You know how they all head towards holes of any kind, tons of them went to the same place had a lump about the size of a big coin. I got most of them out but it looks like I've fallen over on my chin. They would have eaten the area anyway.  I wonder if that's them telling me they are alive and kicking or my body dispelling them because of the cream.

The cream only gets rid of what is on the surface. But it will help to keep your skin clear and cuts the numbers down. I buy the injectible invermecin to use, mixing it with either lotion, coconut oil or sweet oil. Sweet oil is good for the face and used in a lot of cosmetics. As I mentioned I also add the powdered pyrithrin.

When you say injectable ivermectin do you mean the oral gel for vet use?

Ok, I guess nobody is taking me seriously so once again I've had enough and I will deal with this on my own. It sounded as though everybody was quite helpful with each other but apparently got me angry birds so have a good one everybody bye bye

Sorry about that Angry Birds, talk to text is kind of funny at times. But I didn't find it funny when nobody responded to me that's what I meant to say. Good luck everyone

Sorry Hadenough - I guess I was waiting to hear what your doctor said.  Please do share!

When we reply on here, we reply to everyone. The majority of the people posting on here have already past the stage you are apparently now in. Answering your questions will not help you are them and I believe everyone hated to dash your hopes.  Parasites are not rid from being exubeherently clean or using a better moisturizer. Stopping picking is a good idea because it just helps spread them but if you don't want to lose your face, you do have to use something that will kill and deter them. Good luck, I pray you do not have what the rest of us do.

Sorry Haden, everyone's stories are important. Sometimes it's easy to accidentally miss posts as conversations go off in all directions with replies. 😀
