I've had BV for 8 years please help me

I have had BV / bacterial vaginosis for 8 years after receiving oral sex. Since then I have had many test,maybe 10 doctors, clear pap smears,hundreds of dollars in “cures” or appointments. I have taken many pills,supplements,homemade cures to try to cure.Most recently I tried Genitan Violet, it pretty much burned 3 treatments in, in my labia minora and the smell is already coming back…Some of these helped for the time i used them, but as soon as I stopped it came right back Since then I have had no sexual contact with any one because what man would want a person who smells like rotten meat, ammonia, or fish .. one of my many smells which I have had every day without cease for 8 goddamn years..But I must admit I did quit for months on end because it was draining my pocketbook and so damn depressing i’m a 27 year old virgin thanks to this beside the oral sex. before the sexual encounter i had never even had a yeast infection let alone any sort of smell.. can someone help me? I’d like to have a healthy sex life or even a chance at love, but if I can’t even get rid of this smell I may as well prepare for no kids,or marriage or any kind of intimate life

    I have also had recurrent BV... I know it sounds crazy and I have never heard anyone suggest this before but... Are you having regular orgasms? Seriously, I think it is related. I have been struggling to orgasm since I quit seeing my amazing friend with benefits... About the same time I first developed BV. So... I've been smelling that fishy smell for a week or two (just finished a round of clindomiacian... Sp?) Anyway... I'm feeling hot and bothered so I decided to help myself yesterday and I came and squirted... Yes, this is the 3rd time this has happened. (The squirting... I know they say its just pee but I'm not so sure) so today the smell and itch is gone. Just gone. I think I'll be testing this theory again if the BV comes back. Lmao! Give it a try, what can it hurt! 😂😉

      I thought it was to do with similar thing but my thoughts the oppersite when I had bv I was maturbating a lot for a fwb and I also was squirting I believe it's this that made the BV present I done a lost a while back of all the things I did that I stoped doing when my bv cleared ??an this was one of them 😯

      I don't know where you live but did you try the vaginal suppository probiotics? They are sold in europe.

      What worked for me for preventing it from coming back:

      A course of clindamicyn antibiotics (kills EVERYTHING, also good bacteria) immidiatly followed by six days of vaginal suppository probiotica (restauration Therapy) after that keep using the suppositories twice a week. I combine them once a week with the vaginal vitamine C (yess both up there) Gets messy in the morning sometimes but it's worth it!

      If the antibiotics don't work there is another type of medication that is used in europe. It is an antisepticum and it kills the bacteria in a different way than antbiotics, bacteria are less likely to become resistent and it has a broad spectrum.       What is the medication sold in Europe called? And where can I purchase it. I have had BV for about 5 months straight now, I have been treated many times with gels, and pills, etc. changed my soap to a more mild soap. Change underwear twice a day, I shower every day. I also take probiotics and eat live culture yogurt on a daily basis! I all have a pungent fishy smell that is so strong the odor goes right through my jeans! I cannot have sex, I refuse to even try. It is so embarrassing it is affecting my life every single day. I have been so depressed, I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. :"( I just hope it goes away ! I feel like I will never be myself again....

    ciprofloxacin!!!!!!!! limit your sugar no energy drinks!!!!!! no bathing only showers stop wearing tight clothes and tampons!!!!!!!! i have had it since i was 5 and since i did all this and took the cipro it has been gone!!!!!!!!! treat your partner as well!!!!!!!!

      Where is Ciprofloxacin sold? Or does it have to be prescribed? :"( desperately need a cure.

      I feel your pain! I had BV for 6 years! The only thing that cured me was Probiotics! Oral probiotics!  ALL PROBIOTICS ARE NOT THE SAME! I have finally been cured for a month and at first I tried 4 different probiotics that didn’t work. Don’t give up! I ended up buying RAW  probiotics for women 85 billion CFU and they are refrigerated. I won’t say the brand name because I don’t want my post deleted but if you google “raw probiotics women” it’s the first thing that comes up in the search. After 5 days of taking it the smell was completely gone! I still had some wet discharge but it didn’t smell and that is starting to go away too. I couldn’t believe that it worked. Please try this kind!
