Please help - Rash on glans won't go away

Posted , 21 users are following.

Hello,

4 months ago I received unprotected oral sex from a lady who told me she was "clean".

Her mouth appeared clean with no sores or blisters.

A week later I started having terrible burning on my scrotum, perineum and thighs, and my glans turned red (looks like a rash with a few pimplesFile size is too big).File size is too big

The burnings lasted about 15 days and faded, but the glans has remained red and unchanged all this time.

I applied clotrimazole, coconut oil, purell... Everything but nothing changed.

I tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Do you have an idea of what it could be?

hi I've had this issue on and off for over 10 year I say on and off but probably on as I forgot about it for a while.

I tried all sorts of creams antibiotics and garlic oil also doctors appointments 1 doctor said thrush 1 said I can't see anything. 😟

somehow I came to realise that I was keeping my forceskin back to stop it burning and itching which was only from not been used to the heat and moisture generated under the skin which I thought was helping but it was doing the opposite and rubbing on my underwear causing a irritation.

anyway no masterbating no creams shower gels ect keep forceskin over the gland and I seen great results in 4-7 days I it started to disappear really slowly almost like when moisture starts to disappear on a window when you crank the heating up. I beat the battle what went in for.over 2 years ago age 18 to 20 -21 now 29 has came back due to not being carefully and have been keeping a eye on it over the last 18 months my only concern is I think its causing premature ejaculation due to being hypersensitive when rubbed to the point of my legs twitching from the nerves.

any info on premature ejaculation due to balanitis anybody?

Going through the same right now. My penis glan looks just like yours. Do you have a discharge?

No discharge at all, just glans redness.

It will soon be 1 year and nothing has really changed.

No other symptoms, only this visual annoying redness.

I've been having the same problems also. I have tried several creams and antibiotics with no positive results. I have seen two urologist and two dermatologist. They believe it's some type of psoriasis or enzima, which I think does not look like. I have had sexual transmitted disease testing done and they've all come back negative, to include gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, herpes 1 and 2. please see attached photos:

Hi. I have exactly the same issue as the below with some dark purple developed on the edge of the glands and redness on rest. Have been posting here:

      https://patient.info/forums/discuss/blotchy-red-rash-irritated-skin-on-penile-head-lasted-for-over-3-moths-now--546688

Similar path followed. Tested for STI's numerous times and doctors tell me no issues although clearly is. Only two things im left with would be HPV (they dont test for) or Prostatitis. I would lean towards HPV but also had a Epididymitis flare up. I've also had 2x Doxy and 1x co-amoxiclav which hasn't helped. can i ask if you have had any associated issues?

Yes...I've had been diagnosed with Prostatitis also, along with several months back, Epididymitis infection.

It's incredible how we all have the same issue and we are all negative to STDs.

For me tomorrow it will be exactly 1 year since the BJ that started all of this.

It's been several months now that I haven't had any particular flare up, just general redness like the poster above.

At this point I'm convinced the cause is yeast/fungi and pretty much gotten used to it.
