    Hi, Im also on the pill and mid 20's. Doctor told me to cover up with make-up too. On a different pill to cilest now so im hoping sunscreen on the top lip and a change in pill will help, will get back to you if i find out this works!!

    Well i have been to see a dermatologist now and he has given me some cream containing azaelic acid and also a factor 50 suncream that has to be worn all year round. He couldn't stress enough the importance of using high factor sunscreen on your face. Apparently it is quite rare to have chloasma

    i too use Thiospot, I got chloasma last year after being diagnosed with SLE and my GP having to change the contraceptive pill I was taking. It has now nearly gone, and Thiospot has been really good, only been using it for 2 weeks. Use it in the sun with SPF 15 Sunscreen on and you should be OK
