Minor ailments such as a blocked nose (nasal congestion)oral thrush or a sore throat can be treated easily with over-the-counter medicines. Ask your pharmacist for advice on the most suitable medicines to treat your symptoms. Common treatments include beclometasone nasal spray for congestion, miconazole gel for oral thrush and flurbiprofen lozenges for sore throat.
