  • Mono and Jaundice?

Has anyone experienced jaundice with mono? Some sites say it’s pretty common while others say it’s rare. Just wondering as I think my husband may have mono (going to the doctor Monday!) but his eyes are looking a bit yellowish in certain lights.

  • Set back day....

Me again. I had a couple of reasonably decent days. Then didn't sleep well last night. (Sleep seems to keep a lot of stuff at bay) I managed a small walk around the neighborhood this morning. Stayed out of bed for a few hours and went on a couple of small car rides with the hubby. (Sound like a puppy...

  • Today I made some jam

I am just over ten months into this glandular fever journey and today I made some jam, which I'm so proud of and is such a big achievement for me. In October 2017 I was three months into the virus and I decided I wanted to make some jam for my dad for Christmas. I asked my partner to buy the ingredients...

With this new setback I am on day 3. I am now officially down 15 pounds. I have had barely any sleep to boot with horrible night sweats. I just don't know what to do anymore and am losing hope. My doctors nurse told me to wait a few more days and come in if need be. Help.

  • Its like doctors have no clue....

They all seem to think that your throat and lymph nodes HAVE to be involved. That this can go on longer than just a few weeks. It is like they only know the text book mono symptoms and that is it. Went to the ER last night after falling asleep for two hours and waking up with sweats and a rapid heart...
