Sorry to say but yes, its true. Having gerd and lpr causes breathing problems for me, too. I have a hiatal hernia and this causes stomach acid to shoot up thru the esophagus, throat and even the lungs. I have been suffering for 6 years now and the shortness of breath makes me dizzy. Cant even bend over or walk fast specially after eating. Have been taking 30mg lansoprazole for almost 6 years now and that gives me some relief. Just avoid stress so as not to worsen ur symptoms.

Go organic vegan diet and you 'll see a massive improvement. Obviously you still need to avoid the acidic foods, but with eating organic you can still eat them in small amounts occasionally

so far i have been experiencing lumbar and cervical pains but i guess these are due to spondylosis. im taking b12 and magnesium supplements coz they became lower than normal due to lansoprazole. will request for bone examination coz ive read that ppis cause bone issues.

Yes I do! OMG I suffer so much with this! I get breathless on climbing up stairs and with fast activity like running for the bus and climbing up hills! I am under respiratory and cardiac investigations because of these, It's possibly is a bit of both, as I also wheeze, caught and get chest pain. But I am so glad GORD might come into it too and it might not all be thoracic! Yuppeee! Do you also gasp in the night if you eat something wrong?
