Those affected by migraine may be interested to read a recent history of the condition and its treatment. The History of Modern Biomedicine Research Group at QMUL, supported by the Wellcome Trust, have just published ‘Migraine: Diagnosis, Treatment and Understanding c.1960–2010’. This Witness Seminar looked at the last 50 years of research into the diagnosis and treatment of migraine and the changing attitudes of the medical profession towards this debilitating disorder. The volume is available to download as a .pdf document, completely free of charge, from the group’s website, here: http://www.history.qmul.ac.uk/research/modbiomed/wellcome_witnesses/vol49
