What causes this dumb look on my face? Photo 1: Omeprazole 20 mg. Photo 2: no Omeprazole

I've been on omeprazole for 4 years. 20 mg once daily. Without it I have a dumb look on my face, difficulty breathing, bad stress and anxiety, always tired and my gut doesn't work. Why do I have this dumb look on my face? I'm the only person I know that looks like this.

if you are having difficulty breathing with omeprazole you may have an allergy to it, why don't you try a different ppi and see if you get on better with it. Or if it is ppis in general that are giving you this reaction you could always try ranitidine in a high dose with some rennies. Your eyes look a little swollen in the photo, again that could be an allergic reaction. I would speak to you doctor about possibly changing your medication and see what they think.

I don't think you look like you have a 'dumb look' on your face at all. Could it be you're stressing out? Maybe you are being hard on yourself. What ever it is, you may benefit from talking to your doctor. Good luck.
