Lamb Chops with Cherry Glaze

These succulent lamb chops with cherry glaze offer a sophisticated balance of savoury and sweet flavours. Using grass-fed lamb ensures a rich, deep taste that pairs beautifully with the tartness of the cherries and the bright acidity of apple cider vinegar. This high-protein dish is perfect for those seeking a nutrient-dense meal that feels indulgent yet remains naturally gluten-free. The rosemary and garlic rub adds a fragrant, earthy crust to the meat that complements the fruit-based sauce.

Ideal for a quick weeknight dinner or a refined weekend treat, this recipe focuses on simple preparation and high-quality ingredients. The addition of gut-healing bone broth adds a wonderful depth to the glaze while providing extra minerals and nourishment. Serve these chops alongside roasted root vegetables or a fresh seasonal salad for a complete, health-conscious meal that is as impressive as it is easy to prepare.

Ingredients for Lamb Chops with Cherry Glaze

  • 240ml cherries

  • 180ml Gut-Healing Bone Broth

  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon tapioca starch

  • 4 (1/2-inch-thick) 100% grassfed, pasture-raised lamb chops

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil

  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoons fine sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground

  • Black pepper

In a saucepan at medium-high heat, combine the cherries, 120ml bone broth, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Bring to a boil, and then lower the heat to a simmer for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a separate bowl, add 60ml bone broth and tapioca starch. Whisk together. Once combined, pour into saucepan and stir until sauce thickens.

Turn the oven to grill. Brush the avocado oil on the chops. Combine seasonings and press evenly onto chops. Place chops in a baking dish and grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side. Transfer lamb to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes. Top with cherry glaze and serve.
