This five-cheese pimento cheese is a sophisticated, deeply savoury take on a classic vegetarian spread. By blending mild and sharp cheddars with salty Parmesan and spicy pepper Jack, the dip achieves a complex flavour profile that far surpasses shop-bought versions. The addition of jarred pimento peppers provides a gentle sweetness and vibrant colour, while the cream cheese and mayonnaise base ensures a luxuriously smooth consistency that remains perfectly spreadable even when chilled.
Ideal for hosting, this versatile dip fits seamlessly into a grazing board served with crunchy crackers or crisp vegetable crudités. It is also an excellent filling for a toasted sandwich or a tangy topping for a baked potato. This recipe can be prepared up to five days in advance, making it a convenient option for stress-free entertaining or as a flavourful homemade snack to keep in the fridge throughout the week.
