Grilled Corn With Hoisin-Orange Butter

This vibrant vegetarian side dish reimagines grilled corn on the cob with a sophisticated, savoury twist. The natural sweetness of the white corn is perfectly balanced by a homemade compound butter infused with salty hoisin, aromatic orange zest, and a subtle kick of chilli-garlic sauce. As the corn chars on the barbecue, the butter caramelises to create a rich, glossy glaze that is far more exciting than your standard salted butter.

Perfect for summer entertaining or as a fresh accompaniment to a midweek meal, these cobs are quick to prepare and cook in just ten minutes. The addition of fresh coriander provides a bright, herbaceous finish that cuts through the richness of the citrus-spiked glaze. Serve them hot from the grill for a crowd-pleasing dish that brings a touch of fusion flavour to any barbecue spread.
