Can I take Lipitor and Stexerol d3 together?

There is no known harmful interaction between Lipitor (atorvastatin) and Stexerol D3 (vitamin D3). In fact, some studies suggest that vitamin D may help reduce the risk of muscle aches, which are a common side effect of statin medications like Lipitor.

Lipitor is a statin used to lower cholesterol, and Stexerol D3 is a supplement used to treat or prevent vitamin D deficiency. They are processed by the body through different pathways and do not interfere with each other's effectiveness or safety.

What you should do

You can safely take these two medications together. It is usually best to take Lipitor at the same time each day (often in the evening). If you experience any new or unusual muscle pain while taking Lipitor, you should still inform your doctor, even if you are taking vitamin D.
