Can I take 0.2mg and Utrogestan together?

There is no known direct interaction between tamsulosin (0.2mg) and Utrogestan (progesterone). However, both medications can lower your blood pressure, which may lead to increased dizziness or lightheadedness.

Why this happens

Tamsulosin works by relaxing muscles in the bladder and prostate, but it can also relax blood vessels, lowering blood pressure. Progesterone (Utrogestan) can have a similar mild effect on blood vessels. Taking them together might cause a 'double effect' on your blood pressure.

It is generally safe to take these together, but you should be careful when standing up quickly from a sitting or lying position, especially when you first start the combination. If you feel very dizzy, faint, or notice a racing heartbeat, speak to your doctor. It is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol, as this can make the dizziness much worse.
