Why this happens
Vitamin D3 and zinc use different pathways for absorption and processing in the body. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin absorbed with dietary fats, while zinc is a mineral absorbed in the small intestine. They do not interfere with each other's effectiveness.
What you should do
Back to contentsIt is safe to take Vitamin D3 and zinc together. For the best absorption, take Vitamin D with a meal that contains some fat (like yoghurt, eggs, or avocado).
