Taking these two medicines together can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called 'serotonin syndrome'. This happens when there is too much of a chemical called serotonin in your brain. Symptoms can include feeling very agitated, confused, shaky, sweaty, or having a fast heartbeat. There is also an increased risk of bleeding, such as bruising more easily or getting nosebleeds.

Why this happens
Both medicines increase the levels of serotonin in the brain. When used together, these effects add up and can lead to dangerously high levels. Additionally, both drugs can interfere with how your blood clots, which increases the risk of bleeding.
