Can I take 10 and Claritin together?

There are no known significant interactions between loratadine (Claritin) and paracetamol (found in Lemsip). Both medicines are generally safe to take together for cold and allergy symptoms.

Why this happens

These medicines are processed by different pathways in the liver and do not interfere with how the other works. Loratadine is an antihistamine, while paracetamol is a painkiller and fever reducer; they have different targets in the body.

You can take these two medicines together. However, it is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol when taking paracetamol, as combining them increases the risk of liver damage. Always check the labels of other cold and flu remedies to ensure you are not taking more than one product containing paracetamol at the same time.
